I suppose there are 2 ways to look at cartos...
1 - Completely disposable - i.e. I don't want do deal with juice, filling them, etc. Use it up, toss it, put on a new one
2 - "Semi"-disposable. There is no reason why a decent cart can't be filled many times. As long as you keep them wet (don't dry-vape / burn the filler) you'll get a pretty good lifespan out of it. You'll notice the vapor reduce and know when its time to clean or replace (for me, replace, though many have had good luck, to me its not worth the hassle).
Mileage will vary based on the cart itself, and what kind of liquid you're using, but as long as its producing, keep enjoying it!!

I generally run a carto 4 days, 22 - 24 ml of eliquid through them (yes, I vape about 6 ml/day), before it's time to clean or toss. I've been happy with boge cartos, and vapor4life's coolcarts (I'm using a VV mod, up around 4.5V most of the time).
I'm not too tense about the cleaning -- if it works, great, otherwise carto cost is about $0.4/day. Recently picked up an ultrasonic cleaner from Meritline, $20 -- quite happy with how things came out, after a couple cycles in vodka, then tap water rinse and bake at 200F to dry.

So IMB, how many times do you refill your cartos in a month? I usually only get about 10-14 refills out of one before the performance starts deteriorating. I refill once a day.

That's great if you can get that much use out of a carto tho. As long as there is no bad taste, and you are still getting vapor, I don't see how it could be harmful.

bozz i refill about once or twice a day and im using the mega xl clear carto yea i guess vapor production has deteriorated a little but still not enough to make me say ive gotten full use out of my carto so i keep using it (btw im not up on how many ml a day i vape i guesstimating around 2-4)

Yeah, 2-4 ml a day is probably close to what I burn up too. I'm using the Gen Joye cartos with the 2 hard plastic caps. Load up 4 cartos in the morning and that lasts till next morning.

I like them better than the "Boge" style. Have not tried any of the clear cartos. That may be next. Perhaps even the dual coils.

All cartos are classified as "DISPOSABLE". However, any carto that you can take apart, clean, refill and put back together can be used several times. I have some cartos that I have been using for 3-4 months and still work great. S long as you don't burn them and clean them regularly you will get many many uses out of them. It will also depend on the juices that you run through them also. Darker juices tend to gum it upo alot more as they are the coffees and caramels which leave deposits on the coils. My daily vapes are usually on the light or clear side.
Your PG/VG mixture also plays a part as VG leaves more deposits on your coils as well. A really good cleaning in a safe solution that will dissolve the deposits and remove all the gum will help the cartos last a good long time.
