Yup... the non-iron water for the iron. Always liked that one.

Some are distilled by steam distillation, others are RO water. I have hard tap water. I don't put much water in my e-juice, but I've been known to rinse the atty out with it just because of the convenience. Hasn't bothered it yet. The importance is a bit overrated, I think. Not a bad idea tho. Of course, I change atties every month as a rule.

Distilled water doesn't age well when it's been opened. Lot's of bacteria like to grow in it.

If you just need a few drops, making your own is very easy. Boil some tap water in a pot with a cover. Take out the cover and you will see that there is plenty of water on it. It is water vapor that has been condensed on the cooler lid, in other words: distilled water. This should be just fine for what you need.

IDK what that is about (wrong thread?)... Don't add isopropyl alcohol to your juice to thin it. A couple drop wouldn't kill ya.. but there's better alcohol for that. Save the isopropyl for cleaning!

Corrected. I totally ran off using the 2nd post and thought we were talking about rinsing/cleaning. -Magnus

I was thinking about some corn-mash and making my own E85 gasoline mix ... you could help ;) We'll start a trend. Must be why corn is so expensive.... driving up all the meat prices too. But I digress......

Good way to get a few fresh drops for thinning.

can I convert you to my quest for finding a better battery system? Lithium ion has reached its limits :w00t:

Or scrape the ice off the inside of your freezer. It's distilled water (well, when it melts).

I know your Avatar is a Gual from the iron age, but I have to ask: You STILL have a freezer that accumulates ice? 8-o

Mine doesn't (no defrosting needed...:2cool:). But you have a very good point. If your freezer does have icy deposits, it is distilled water (but not the ice from the ice maker...)

Well, strictly speaking it's a Gaul as it's taken from Asterix - you're right. But I'm just using it as a general-purpose Druid.
:)

Ice in freezer - well, I keep mine at -24C so maybe it gets more ice than it should... Also, we put that in irons, cars and stuff to save money. And if you use it in drinks, instead of ice cubes, you can save on the water rates (water is metered & paid for by volume here). Times are hard in Europe, we are having to pay to bail out Greece and Portugal. No one would care normally, but we go there on vacation, so we need to keep them going, dangit.

Laptops, cell phones, electric cars, all battery driven devices... including e-cigs... are driving a lot of research. Here's an OLD post....

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-1800-mah-super-mini-size-few-years-away.html

Hang in there. I give the whole mod market (other than highly customized stuff... like Rolls-Royce e-cigs) a few years of life left. Then, cig-sized 5 volt 1000 mAh batteries will be standard!

   I forgot about the European mindset. Haven't lived there in a while, and I have become very Americanized (hence, the buying of the latest freezer technology before you really need it). It's all good! You will save the Earth and Greece (and Spain, and Portugal, and ...)

BTW, I am a big fan of Asterix, and I love Panoramix (Magigimmix for anglophones) :p
