I too, got tall narrow bottles - I've picked up some 30 ml glass bottles, and as the PG and VG get lower, I'll transfer into those so I can still just dip the syringe in... I may even color code it - blue, brown, and clear, so I know at a glance what's what...

If it's a thickness thing, the VG is gonna be most difficult, due to thickness.
Do you have needles on the syringes? Take em off - that will help.

Hop over to a drug store or department store. There with the pill reminder boxes and pill splitters will be an oral dosing syringe that includes a stepped wedge stopper that the syringe will fit the center hole in that stepped wedge stopper.

Push wedge stopper into bottle. Push syringe into stopper. Flip bottle upsides down. Fill syringe. Flip back upright. Pull syringe out and then dispense.

Bonus, the tip is wider than a luer so VG is super easy to suck in and push out.

Extra bonus, a bottle with the stopper and syringe in it will not spill when knocked over.

I really like the one sold by Walgreen because they include a cleaning brush that also fits other syringes.

The link to these that is in my DIY blog is broken, but I think the one in the comments still works.

Lately I put both the VG and PG (separately) in those short fat canning jars. They hold about 8 ounces and have a wide mouth so it's easy to get a syringe into and not have to worry about tall bottle levels.

We use the 8oz size and sometimes the 4oz size (they're great for nic). GMTA :)

There's a few things I do depending on how much I'm making at the time.

1. Can use the syringe without the needle.
2. Warm up VG if it's to thick to thin it out
3. Poor a little in a bowl if the syringe don't fit in the bottle.
4. Warm up the VG or PG if to thick to poor then transfer it to a bottle with a wider mouth.
5. Can transfer it to a squeeze bottle with a narrow flip top tip.
6. If making a large quantity warm it and pour the exact amount you need into a graduated cylinder.
