Awesome, only reason I ask is because like you I want to also build a high power capable device... but mine will hopefully be capable of 1.5kW... using a 65c/130c RC battery... mine will obviously be a lot bigger than yours but should have a much higher margin for safety using batteries capable of much higher amp outputs than VTC's

Did you even read this article? He was using non-OEM charger, and it caught fire lighting an OXYGEN TANK in his room up. The e-cigarette itself was not the issue, it was the guy being dumb as nails.
That article is confusing two separate incidents. One guy died in a fire with an oxygen generator and in separate incident a guy's mod got hot, he dropped it and it exploded spraying shrapnel everywhere.
Good job I like it. And you know I get it I really do, if I was 20 something again I probably would have one these in my arsenal.

Ok, so after using this mod, and building it, I would make a few changes to alleviate any headaches.
1) Buy Vape3D battery tray
2) Solder Mosfets and heat shrink together in groups of two
Note: Charger was DOA, still waiting for replacement.
I have used the mod for about a week with a .07 build and it is amazing.

Another issue that I encountered was that the DC power port grounds to case of connector when plug is inserted. This is pretty disappointing since I am working with 2 different circuits. Time to search for another 2.1mm isolated power port.
i would ditch the wimpy 11.5C sony vtc and get some 40C RC cells, but thats just me
That is nice. And .07 is redonculous
but you know I have seen alot of other people claiming to be vaping in that range without half of the safety features you have installed in yours, I like it.
Looking over the spec's on some of those cells, they do tend to "lend themselves" to a box mod build.
I'm waiting on a new battery sled from Vape3D. He recently moved to a new location and is flooded with orders. I think he caught up today and I should get the new sled in this week.
