I guess I am not the only one to notice the TFA butterscotch to be not working. I am trying to get it to be like MTBaker. I went for 5%-20% in 5% increments and it is vapable but not butterscotch. 1 30ml bottle has been steeping for 2 weeks now and still no hint of butterscotch and is a 50/50 mix. Wondering if it could be the VG and PG I am using from RTS. Just going to try it from FW to see how theirs it. If I could get one to workit would be my only vape!

I made a batch of this today, cant wait sounds Yummy :)
:)

This one turned out really good for me.

12% Butterscotch (FlavorWest)
6% Caramel Candy (FlavorWest)
4% Peanut Butter (Capella's)
2.5% Marshmallow (Capella's)

Added a little sweetener to it (because I like it sweet!) ... and let it steep!

Hope that helps. :)

Well, i've made the FA Butterscotch at 20%. Still no noticeable flavor. I wonder whether this one needs more steeping then 2 weeks??? Anyone any suggestions?

I want to make a final test at 25%. But after that it's a one way ticket to the trash container. :(

Naah, FA Butterscotch to me is a big failure. I don't get any taste from 1% - 25%. Maybe i'll make some ice cream with it in the summer...

Butterscotch has been my one HUGE failure at DIY!!

Try FW @ 12%

I don't need to try any other Butterscotch than MBV/FW

12% FW tastes as close to my MBV Butterscotch +1 that's steeped for a month inc a small seed steep

15% was horrible, 11.5% was light to me but getting there, 12.5% is good but strong
12.5% might be it with long term steeping but 12% tastes very good with a few hours airing/steeping in the UC

No added flavors necessary but I might try a small batch using Sandiej02's recipe fround here

MBV is FW.
I was responding to this:
sure wish we could get close to COV or MVB.....I love butterscotch.....but all DIY have failed miserably !!!!!
Somebody has to be able to do it ?... come on you guys are all flavor chemists :)
According to MBV, their flavorings are exactly what they use to make their eliquids. So, if you love their Butterscotch eliquid, why not just buy their Butterscotch flavoring?

ETA: Just noticed. MVB? Was it supposed to be MBV? Or, is that something else?
