So today I was tinkering with one of my T3s tanks and managed to break one (long story...)! :(

But every cloud has a silver lining and I managed to convert it to a dripping atty!

Its got crazy air flow, only downside is it can leak pretty easy... But that aint a big deal! it works great!! :)

For the most part its only a drip tip on the top of the atty! Somehow it fit perfect! :)

Have a T3S that was starting to taste a little plastic'ee... absinthe and red apple was a bit too much for it. :glare:

Anyway... remembering this thread, I heated the metal until the glue loosened, pulled out the plastic, leaving pretty much what you have there Nathan... except I kept the tank metal threaded part, which was now a sort of collar.

Screwed the tank metal "collar" onto the base to act as a sort of juice well, cut about 30mm of 2mm cotton and put it on top of the original coil and wick, and wrapped it around the coil shield in a 'S' shape.

Makes a great open well RDA, "juice taste tester". With 6-8 drops, I can get about 12-14 hits off of it before it's time to drip again. Haven't figured out what to do with the top metal, drip tip and air tube... but the day is young. :p

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing! I just started looking around and found an old Ego cone from an old kit. It threads perfectly on to a Kanger Protank atty. Now, all I need is a custom drip tip... Cone gets a bit warmy during use.

Sorry... no camera. Just the guts of a T3S with the bottom metal of the tank screwed on to make a half-... short cup. Nothing amazin' to look at... kind of ugly actually.
In fact, right now I'm using the bottom metal as a beauty ring for my wife's eGo... same thread pitch as the base. ;-)
