DIY E-Liquid HELP

Hey guys, I have been vaping for about a month now and am interested in making my own e-liquid.The only problem is I don't know where to start. What is a list of everything i would need? I already have 10 and 15 ml bottles and 2 3ml syringes. Next Question- Would I be better off buying from different vendors or buying one of the starter kits that are available? The type of juice I want to make is
30ml bottle
Nic Strength 36
PG/VG- 80/20 Blend
Unsure of the flavors
As of now the only vendors i have used are litecigusa and mtbakervapor. So if it would be better to get items from different vendors would you please list what to get from where. Thanks for any help you can give, it is apreciated

My best advice, read more about DIY in the DIY forum. Evaluate your own ability to handle mixing of chemicals. Really sit down and think about what you need to devote yourself to making your own.

Everyone has their own way of doing things. Children in the house? Cats, dogs, other pets? Are your tables or counters cluttered and can you reach across your desk without knocking something off? Can you safely store mixed and unmixed chemicals? (Not asking you to answer those question here, so please, don't.)

Some people will provide you with a list of "stuff" you "have to have" in order to do this. Kits are nice if you have nothing. You can build on them to make one that You need.

There are too many suppliers to list here. The DIY section will help you there. Not all suppliers may carry exactly what you want or need. Someone is going to be out of this or that. You need to work out what you're willing to pay for shipping and/or the product it's self, as well as shipping times.

So, read more, think about it, then do your research.

It all depends on what you like. If menthol is your thing 6ml will start you off, Ry4 and Double Ry4 Good starting point for tabacco flavor, Then some vanillin, cotton candy. Start small otherwise you will have flavors you will never use or don't like wasteing good money. I get all my stuff from wizardlabs.us or myfreedomsmokes.com pickup some pipettes 1ml, 3ml, 5ml

I buy from MFS, OSDIYS and Wizard Labs and I have to say they are all great. Keep in mind that WL has been referring customers to MFS since they moved. They have been out of stock on quite a few things the last month.

Get a good juice calculator to take the headache out of figuring out what percentages to mix. I recommend the e juice me up calc eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator. Once you get some recipes you can plug your numbers in the calculator.

I bought a kit from One Stop DIY Shop, it was very well packaged and came in the mail fast. My recommendation would be to buy way more pipettes than you think you need! I bought 48 mg nic base, because it's the strongest concentration I still feel comfortable handling.

Well first of all, you'll need to secure some basic supplies:

Your solvent(s) - propylene glycol or vegetable glycerine (many people vary ratios between the two, and in your vaping past you might have come across a combo that works well for you)

Your nicotine base - either solvated in propylene glycol or vegetable glycerine. There are many places that offer unflavored nicotine base, and a good place to start would be any unflavored stuff under 48mg/mL. I've used wizardlabs and vapingzone before as examples.

Your flavors - name a combo you'd like to try and I can do my best to steer you in the right direction. We're looking for propylene-glycol or alcohol-based flavorings (nothing with non-polar oils in it). LorAnn and Vaping zone have some nice concentrated flavors to use.

And your bottles/syringe with needle to measure, and there you go!

If you can shoot a target nicotine strength, PG/VG ratio, and flavor I can do my best to set you on your way. Glad to hear you're taking on the DIY!

VG (6ml-120 Drops-20%)
Lorann Flavoring (3ml-60 Drops-10%)

Does this sound correct to you guys. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

High Desert Vapes has many different flavors (I usually prefer Flavorwest) and at a small size and price 3ml for $1.99 each. You can search these forums for tons of info on DIY, including recipes. That's what I did when I first started

By adding all the other ingredients, you are diluting your 36mg/mL nicotine base to a lighter strength. You would need to obtain a stronger nicotine base to start, and then dilute with your flavors and VG.

If you had 100mg/mL nicotine base in PG to start, here's how you would formulate 30mLs of a 36mg/mL batch at 10% flavoring at 80%PG/20%VG:

10.8mL 100mg/mL PG base
11.7mL PG
4.5mL VG
3mL flavoring

by the way, since you want to flavor at 10%, you would effectively need to reduce your PG and VG ratios to 75:15 to compensate for some flavor volume PM me if you need additional help.
