Hi,

so decided to try making my own. Mostly so more a affordable. Please look at this i made, is the math correct lol?

https://ibin.co/33Unoxkpy9jN.png

The nicotine is 72mg/ml and the flavoring is the max recommended 10% according to the product. Seems crazy, i can make about half a liter of e-juice for 20 quid! And still have tons of PG and VG left over.

Forgot to dilute the VG with distilled water. Normal is 80% VG and 20% distilled water to make AG?

Something is off. Quick check of Nic strength:
you have 25 mls or 72 mg/ml nic. By definition, that means a total of 25x72=1800 milligrams of nicotine total.
In 100 ml of final juice, that means your strength is 18, not 9.

I'd locate a "calculator" to prevent such kinds of errors - the math gets trickier if you decide "gee, that was good, but I want to change to 50/50 PG/VG without changing the flavor percentages". Calculator is great for that kind of thing.

I use e-juice-me-up, which is a PC program you install - but there are apps, too...

Here's your recipe (10% menthol, 9mg, 70/30)

I'm not familiar with AG...
But I think most calculators should have a field to add any other dilutant, like distilled water.

Ah good catch with the nic strength! How would i use that calc to add AG not VG. Assuming AG is 80%VG and 20% water..

Shipping is an outrageous 6.95 pounds though :(

Got it - well this calculator is designed to let you enter a water percentage of TOTAL, so I had to ballpark it, for the VG/H20 ratio to be ABOUT 80/20. The PG/VG ratio and nic strength are exact...

AG is VG diluted with water. Aqueous glycerine. 80% VG/ 20% water. I just not good enough at maths to add that to calculator and preserve a true 70/30 PG VG ratio.

70/30 PG/AG would be 47.5ml PG + 12.5 NIC PG BASE + 10 menthol/24ml VG + 6ml H20... as far as i can tell.

Alternatively, using PG/AG 64/36 would mean there is 30% actual VG in the final product while still having 6ml H20. Seems a bit more appealing to me since i like clouds and 24% VG does seem on the low side.

That said, only wanted to add water so that the final liquid won't be so viscous as to clog up my atomizers. Is a standard 70/30 PG/VG mix already thin enough not to clog? I'm using a Cubis Pro with those pre-made joyetech ato. Maybe I don't need to bother adding water?
