Hello!
Have learned a lot through this forum thus far, and I thank all of you guys for being a part of such a helpful community. I was hoping to have a specific question answered I cant seem to find clarity on
Created a 15 ML E-juice with 13% Flavoring at VG 60 and PG 40 Ratio.
This required me to put 2.0ml of Flavoring, 9.0ml of VG and 4.0ml of PG for a total of 15ML.. Now I'm finding out that the flavor isn't quite as strong to my liking, so I would prefer to add some extra flavoring to the mix.
This would obviously go over the 15ML, which is fine, but how do I keep the VG/PG Ratio the same?
For instance, If i wanted to go to 20%, and since flavoring is 100% PG based, this would add another 7% of flavoring as well as adding the same 7% in PG. How much VG would I have to add? How would I have an idea of what the total ML at this point would be?
I was thinking its just 7% of 15ML, which is 1.05 ML added on, which makes the total liquid now about 16ML but now doesn't have the same 60/40 VG/PG split, how would one go about calculating how much VG to put in and what the final ML total would be?
I think i'm over thinking it but.... HELP!!
EDIT:
Just thinking out loud here, trying to figure this out mathematically
If I added another 1.05 Ml of flavoring.. Lets just call it 1ml for ease. That makes the total 16ml. Which equals to 7ml of PG in there including the flavoring (4ml of PG from original mix, and another 1ML added on to the existing 2ml flavoring = total 7ml)
7ml is 43.75 percent of the 16ml juice, which means PG is now at 43.75 percent.
Does that mean I just add 3.75 percent VG of 16ml more to the mix, which is 0.6 ml. Totaling the ML to 16.6 ML, back at the 60/40 VG/PG Mix?
Did that make any sense..?
--EDIT AGAIN..
No that doesnt work out.. 9.6 of 16.6 is 58%.. Is that even a significant difference?
Edit AGAIN.. I think i figured it out lol, please correct me if I'm wrong
If i add another 7% of flavoring, or any percent, and it comes out to 1ml
I now have to add 160% of VG of whatever that flavoring amount is, to the mix
meaning I would add 1.6 ML of VG to the now 16ml mix, bringing the total of VG to 10.6 and total liquid in the mix to 17.6
10.6/17.6 is just about 60%
10.5 is closer.. but now i ask.. Did that make ANY SENSE?
