I have a problem. I have used 1.8 ml of 100 mg nic. This comes out to 180 mg divided by 30 (because i'm makingn 30 ml) which should be six. However when I do this the nicotine appears way too strong. Does anyone know why I'm having the problem?
did you make sure to shake up your bottle of nic base before? I give it a good 30 sec- 1 min shake before I draw from it.
Nicotine is a lighter density than PG and VG and will float to the top of the bottle when just sitting on the shelf or where ever you place it.

What ratio are you going for?
What flavor % are you using
Is the flavor pg or vg based
is your nicotine pg or vg based?(ie-wizard labs ships with pg or vg mixed nic)
I have been using pg based nic. I have vg based nic and experience the same problem with both. I also use pg flavor. I do 5 ml (18%) flavor, 1.8 ml 100 mg nic, and then filll pg to the 15 ml line. After that I fill the rest of the 30 ml with 15 ml vg.
When you say it tastes strong. What exactly do you mean? Is it harsh, too much flavor, taste burnt, or do you feel like your getting to much Nic? Where are you ordering your Nic from? With you making 6mg/ml ejuice, it surprises me that it tastes strong (too much Nic). What did you vape store juice at? I'm wondering if 18% flavor is the problem and that's what's making it taste strong.
Cheers,
Steve
I don't know how people can measure nicotine strength by the taste.
Maybe I am missing the point of this thread......![]()
When you're going subohm is pretty easy to tell.

I am inspired to try. What is subohm anyway?
(careful...)
I use 26g microcoils to produce about .3 ohm with a rda. Lot of vapor production
