I've been vaping for a year and a half now and finally decided to mix my own liquid. I bought a base with 50%vg and 50%pg with a 12 mg of nicotine which is my desired mix. So all i need to do now is add the flavoring, right? Is additional diluting necessary? Thanks.

correct. Do keep in mind most flavoring is pg based. After adding flavoring your pg/vg ratio will be slightly off. This also means your 12mg will go slightly down.

Any tips on limitations of how much concentrated flavoring to mix in my 30ml bottle?

Hard to say, not knowing the flavor/maker. My best bet would be to adjust to taste.

Forgot to mention that most online vendors list the recommended % on their flavoring bottles. (If not, you can find it on their website.)

And check out DIY E-Liquid for lots of good information. There are threads for most brands of flavors, and the "Search Thread" button at the top of each page works well for finding specific flavors. I use between 1% and 15% within one brand. And always start on the low end and work up if needed.
