Hi Guys,

Im from the philippines and im planning to mix my own e-juice i found a VG here called Peotraco pure glycerin. They say its food based so i guess thats safe. What im having second thoughts in using is the flavorings here. Im not sure if its safe to inhale. Do you guys have the ingredients of a safe flavoring liquid that i can use as a guide in buying my flavor?

I'm sure you will get many replies from more knowledgable people than me, but make sure your PG is USP grade.
May DIY mixers are using Loranns for flavoring.

i appreciate your replies. what chemical or ingredient should i take note of that might be not suitable for vaping? just in case i decided to try out falvorings found at our local grocery stores here.

Went to CVS looking for VG--asked pharm.--he didn't have a clue what i was asking .
Found some "glycerine" in the cosmetics isle.
It said--""for covering wounds" need to know??--same as we inhale or not?????
Was 5.00 for 6 ounces-cheap enough if right stuff?????

Yes, I believe that's the stuff. Remember, the ingredients commonly used in vaping were originally intended for other purposes. Glycerine (VG) is used in many of the foods we eat and as a skin protectant, PG is used for livestock care and to make anti-freeze safer if it's accidentally consumed and also used in the medical industry to carry medications into the lungs.

the vg i bought was the one in the baking section. i think thats a much safer way to go with buying vg in malls

You can absolutely vape pure VG. I do as a lot of people that have reactions to PG.

seviiendust....Not sure what may be available to you in the Philippines, but the flavoring that we use in our DIY is concentrated food grade flavorings.....Found in stores here in the baking sections...many of our bakeries also carry the flavorings. If you have doubts about something you see there, jot down the ingredients and then post them here and someone will either know or can find out for you if it is relatively safe.
