I am going to start venturing into the DIY territory and am beginning to shop around for flavorings. I am hoping to stay away from oils since I don't feel comfortable inhaling them. Would you guys have any suggestions on where I should go to get the flavorings I desire? I looked at Loranns and so far what I've found is that they're all mostly oils? Where should I go to make sure I don't get any oils?

Actually most Lorann's are not oils. Lorann's Oils is a trademarked brand name. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/28975-lorann-flavors-color-coded-complete-ingredients-list.html check out the sticky and note how many are soluble in water. (Oil is not soluble in water)

But if you are just starting out I would recommend Capella's. I find Cap's to be easier to learn mixing with than most other flavorings and they don't have oil based flavor drops, all of them are PG based, so you won't even have to look at a sticky list to figure out which are actually oil and which aren't.
