Ok, I started DIY not that long ago and have had satisfactory results but nothing spectacular. My latest batch had some not very good results tho.

I love Amaretto and Mint flavors so those were among the ones I was trying out. I made: straight Amaretto, straight Peppermint and an Amaretto/Mint/Cream all at 3mg nic. Three bad results. The straight Peppermint was plain nasty....way too strong. The Amaretto made me feel a little nauseous when I vaped it. The mint in the "mixed" juice totally overpowered the other flavors. I figured that I had 3 throw aways and a lesson learned, but being a cheap SOB I decided to try and salvage something out of these, grabbed some more empty bottles and began playing Mad Chemist, pouring half a bottle into here, a quarter bottle into there, adding some Stevia to all. Let em steep for a week.

Last night it was time to risk the Franken-juice. Filled my KFL, and took a hit. ITS ALIVE, ITS ALIVE <<<<insert maniacal laughter>>> and ......., its very good, a nice warm creamy amaretto to start and a cool mint exhale. It is a vape I would cheerfully buy premade. And I DIY...for the WIN!!!

....or is that for the LOSS??? Of course I dont have a recipe for this  Ah well, I have approx 60ml of it so I can enjoy for a while.

Another lesson learned: No matter how cheap or poor you are you can always afford to PAY attention.

I play mad scientist all the time and have many mixes without a name. I do keep notes on everything I mix but then again mixing play time is a whole different story. When I have many test samples just sitting around collecting dust it's time to play "pour a little of this into a little of that" and lets see what happens. I can't say I found my favorite vape that way but I do come up with some interesting combinations.

It's all part of the DYI adventure.
