DIY juice taste burnt

Yes to using fresh coils, no to the higher ohm coil but I do have a pack at home I can try it out. I have adjusted the wattage down until there is no longer a burnt taste but at 2.5 volts there is really not much of anything. I will do a separate PG and VG once I get home from work but will probably order new pg and vg from essentialdepot and new nicotine from carolinaxtract and see how those work together

Sounds like you have a pretty solid plan going. Let us know how you make out.

Definitely the VG that was causing the taste. Going to order some hopefully better VG
The Heritage Products VG is my favorite. You need less sweetener with it though. DIY is fun, but it does take some practice. If you like a problematic flavor, try using a different brand of the same flavor. When I started making e liquid I kept several disposable attys around. Another thing I did was keep a journal/recipe book. Keep at it. I have no doubts you'll show this e liquid who's boss :)
