OK so how much (in mL) would I need to add of 100mg/ml nicotine to an existing bottle of 30ml (0 mg) to make the juice 8mg/ml? I should be able to figure this out but my brain is not working.
I got 2.6
I always use a calculator, but did this for fun
desired ml/mg = 8
total ml = 30 + x
total mg = 100*x
So:
8 = 100*x / 30+x
solve for x:
8 (30+x) = 100*x
240 + 8x = 100x
240 = 92x
2.6 = x
Check it:
You'll add 2.6 of 100 mg/ml, for a total of 260 mg nicotine
You'll have 30+2.6 = 32.6 ml total juice
Your strength will be 260/32.6 = 7.975 mg/ml (close enuf)
The difference from my answer is that the calculator is using a total target volume of 30. He could pull 2.4 ml of no-nic juice OUT and put 2.4 ml of nic juice IN, that would work too...
PG or VG with nicotine 2.4 ml 8.0%
PG or VG (no nicotine) 27.6 ml 92.0%
