Hey everyone,

The DIY liquid is a bit too complicated for me. So, I'm buying juices already mixed, but I wanted to alter them my own way.

For example, if I bought a bottle of 0mg strawberry juice, and a 24mg strawberry juice, I could put 15ml of each in a 30ml bottle, and I would have a 12mg strawberry juice, correct? Assuming that each juice is 50/50 PG/VG, is this all I would have to calculate?

And let's just say I bought a 0mg peach juice and had 24mg pear juice, if I mixed 15ml of each in a 30ml bottle, then I would have 12mg peach/pear juice, yes?

Is this all I would have to do to mix already mixed juices? Am I looking at it too simply?

TIA!!

Hmmm to take this a step further - I already mix my juices as I am finicky and constantly drip different juices into my boge cartomizer during the day. I have been reading the DIY section, and I also am a bit overwhelmed at the thought of DIY'ing from start to finish - but I lately have l wondered if I could buy some of the flavors from the vendors and "pep" up my existing juices - can I do this? Sorry for this newb question. I just would like my juices more tailored to my palette and and I like really strong sweet flavors....

op, yes this is correct and especially easy when buy the juices you are mixing from the same vendor.

@shy one. Yes this what I used to do until I started diy. Juice is juice. If you like one and you want to add a little more of another, have at it. I had pina colada that I liked so I added a couple of drops of cherry to it and it was awesome. Of course the first time I did half and half and it was horrible.

Thank you Release - I think I will buy a few of my favorite flavors that are recommended here, and start experimenting! I was just talking to my DH about how I really want to DIY but it seems a bit overwhelming and time consuming. But he is brilliant at stuff like this so maybe I will have him take a look at the main threads. I really am so picky about flavor.....a few weeks ago I started a thread about going through a taste funk. Someone recommended adding flavors which led to me this sub-forum...a whole new world that beckons me....but for now I just want to get out of my funk!

Thanks again :)

I'm in almost the same boat as you. I've only made three flavours, but I have yet to make one nearly as good as my favorite vendor liquid.

One of my favorites is cb4 by the standard. It's creme brule with a hint of citrus. How hard can it be? I just can't justify spending nearly a dollar per ml on juice.

If money isn't a factor just do what you are suggesting, but measuring nicotine juice, pg/vg, and flavorings into a bottle isn't much more difficult than what you will be doing. Might cost a little more up front, but should be much cheaper in the long run when you can make a handful of nice juices and know exactly what's in them.

Good luck. Keep us posted.

The e Juice Me Up calculator has a window that helps calculate up to 3 mixes. Select 'nic combine' from the tools menu. (Links to download in the stickies).

Diy doesn't have to be too daunting. Start with low nic strength base (say 24 or 36 as opposed to 100mg) and start with some simple recipes. Good luck and happy vaping.
