Um, that's a tough one, but there is hope.

First say hi to a few other folks here. Get your post count up.

While you're doing that, or after you do that, come take a look around at this thread. DIY e-liquid - E-Cigarette Forum

There is also a list of member's recipes here E-liquid Recipes - E-Cigarette Forum

The tobacco part of your mix, I would go with TPA's Tobacco Absolute, but someone like Scubabatdan would steer you toward the Seedman's commercial. The next part is up to you. Some say menthol makes it and some say other mint flavors are needed. I've done a mix for a friend with just TPA's TA and some menthol suspended in PGA and he said it was like a Newport, but I don't trust his sense of taste.

Nhalers "Nuport" is a really good premade but for DIY, you need a tobacco flavor plus a menthol of course and the tobacco flavoring is not the best out there.

If I were to do a DIY menthol, I'd start with liquidxpress's 'Original' flavor and add menthol - either from Decadent Vapors or a solution from menthol crystals and add a drop at a time to a 10ml blend of nic juice, VG or PG or VG:pG blend with the Original flavoring added.

Another try would be all DV - habana reserve plus their menthol, but again, make the mix first with the H.res. then add the menthol drop by drop until you hit. Menthol can overwhelm any other flavor other that perhaps loranns lemonade.

I dabble into diy as well. I found that when I mix the tobacco flavors, I get the same metalic taste. Now here's my solution:

take some PG liquid about 1/2 a hot glass full or 15ml. Get a package of malboro snus. they sell it at most smoke shops or gas stations, rite aid does not carry it. :) Snus is a tobacco product, sells for about 3 bucks for 6 pouches. they are for chewing tobacco. Anyways put about 3 pouches in your shot glass with your PG, then stir it with a popsicle stick or pencil, don't worry the pouches are durable and you won't break them. Let it bake in the sun for about 2 hours. (stirring occasionally) then mix that 1/2 and 1/2 with the tobacco absolute for your parts with nicotine, and the metal taste is gone.

Also my newest DIY trick for any other juices, if you have a juice that comes out too harsh, put it in the sun for about 2 hours. I swear to god it takes away the throat hit, and doesn't harm the chemicals. :)
