Nature's Flavors plays well with VG, they use Water/Alcohol/Glycerin based flavoring. They are slightly thin so you'll need to dilute the VG less if you use them. Some of them are a lot stronger than others, but I've only tried a few. There's a sampler pack that's well priced - Nature's Flavors : * Natures Flavors Sample Pack of Natural Coffee & Tea Flavoring Systems

Also if you look through Perfumer's Apprentice a few of their flavorings don't have PG, like the Cinnamon RedHots and Eugenol (clove extract). You can also try Menthol drops.

Homeish now
Ok some of yall know him a whole lot better then I do....was about to order some more Nic from Levy.

Out of curiosity I asked what his standards were exactly...you know how everyone is always saying he has these "High standards" does all these test on his nic.
Now I've never had a problem with his stuff...this is just me being curious
Cant exactly know anyone has High standards..if I have no clue what anyone's standards are.
I was figuring Id get some examples what what kinds of tests he does or kind of list
this chem < xnumber ppm ect (Most of which I'd have to look up to figure out what he was talking about...but I like knowing just the same.)

Instead he gets irritated with me...Wants to know why any vapor would need to know that and if I'm testing samples from other suppliers. o0

Rose, he's always been very nice with me.

I read somewhere on here that his nic juice was tested extensively by someone ( i dont know who ) and it measured up. Plus , his juice is clear...which always is a good indication.

Other than that..i dont really know...But i do use his liquid and it's worked great for me.

Sorry you had a bad experience.

Unfortunately you can't read attitude or emotions in e-mail, so sometimes people just take things the wrong way. With the constant inquisition going on related to quality control, if a random person questions what a supplier's high standards are it could be misleading. I imagine the FDA would probably have anonymous people ask questions too, like secret shoppers.

Anyway, DVap did extensive tests on his liquid to make sure the concentrations were exact. See here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...xtremevaping-com-100-mg-ml-mixing-liquid.html

Well, that's like asking about 99.5% pure VG or PG, which is the highest purity available. What's the other .5%? Usually VG or PG, but could have some chemicals used in the purification process. It's just not possible to detect some substances at that level. Levy's nicotine is 99.5% pure and then mixed with VG/PG also at the highest purity level possible, so the only remaining testable standards are exactness of nicotine strength in the mixture and the storage quality which you can tell from discoloration.

I have a suggestion.

Can we possibly make a new thread for DIY recipes only ?

It would be nice if we had it as a "sticky" as well.

I've got a few recipes that im making up and would love to share them, and there's a few here posted that are great , but it's hard finding them .

I love this thread..but its hard finding the recipes just when you're searching for them in here.

I know the forum has a diy recipe thread already..but maybe we should have our own ?

Just a suggestion.....whatcha think ?

I just made my first DIY recipe and it tastes LOVELY! Took all of 3 minutes and once I get some nic its going to be one of my main vapes! I only made it in a small quantity just for testing purposes...Here is the recipe

48 drops (2.4ml) of 80pg/20vg mix
7 drops of blackberry flavor (mysterious unknown DIY PIF origins!)
4 drops of PA malted milk flavor
2 drops of PA sweet almond flavor

This tastes like a blackberry smoothie that is heavy on the milk!

THANKS TO ALL THE DIY PIF PEEPS FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE! I'M HAVING A BLAST!

As far as DIY flavors go I have tried Loranne's and PA. I like being able to order small amounts so I can test things and then order larger the way PA does it is great. :) and Linda is beyond awesome, but I want to make sure I'm not missing out on anything amazing.

Is there another flavor creator in the US that is good that I should give a try to?

Capella's is pretty good, but kinda expensive:

Capella Flavor Drops for e-Liquid (DIY) use

And they have just added new flavors - waffle & vanilla cupcake. Been wanting to try those myself. Make sure to look at the coupon code link on the left.

  • Bananas Foster is a dessert dish that originated in New Orleans in the 1950′s and has spread across the country. The recipe I worked from can be found here: Brennan's - Banana's Foster Recipe
This recipe uses the FlavorArt Banana Flavoring. The TPA Ripe Banana Flavoring can be substituted at the same amount. I used the TPA Caramel Candy Flavoring, but the regular Caramel should work just as well. Since one of the ingredients is Vanilla Ice Cream, use French Vanilla flavoring if you have it. Regular vanilla may take some adjustment.
Do NOT over do the Cinnamon, in fact, start with just two drops and let it sit for a day.
    Recipe: Bananas Foster
    By Locutus Borg
Amount: 16 ml (based on 30 drops / ml)
    Nicotine liquid 1: 30mg/ml 70%PG/30%VG Base 30mg/ml 71% 11.4ml 342 drops
    Flavoring 1: FlavorArt Banana Flavoring 8 % 1.3 ml 39 drops
    Flavoring 2: TPA Caramel Candy Flavoring 8 % 1.3 ml 39 drops
    Flavoring 3: TPA Jamaican Rum Flavoring 6 % 1.0 ml 30 drops
    Flavoring 4: TPA Cotton Candy Flavoring 3 % 0.5 ml 15 drops
    Flavoring 5: TPA Cinnamon Flavoring 1 % 0.2 ml 6 drops
    Flavoring 6: TPA French Vanilla Flavoring 3 % 0.5 ml 15 drops
    Overall nicotine strength: 21.3 mg/ml

Since I check every week to see if Tasty Vapor has their Bananas Foster on as one of their flavors of the week, I just had to try this one! Mixed up a 5ml test batch. Initial first impression is favorable, but flavoring is very varied since it’s green, and the flavors are fighting each other for dominance. Will give it a few days to brew and then check it out once it’s had time to fully develop. Thanks for posting this one, I can’t wait to enjoy it!

I’ve been vaping this recipe just a bit everyday for the past 5 days. Tonight I think the flavors finally settled into perfect harmony! And it is very tasty! Trouble is, I have maybe a 1/2 ml left after testing it for 5 days. Now I have to wait another whole week while the big batch I am gonna make up ripens!
    Thanks for the great recipe!

Are Lorann's Bakery Emulsions alright to use in DIY juice?

They will probably kill your atomizer, or at least shorten the lifespan, and they may not vape properly. They contain Acacia Gum and Xanthan Gum, which have very high boiling points, meaning they won't leave your atomizer.
