I made a DIY juice using a strawberry flavor and the unused juice turned yellowish after a couple of days. I'm not talking juice in a tank or clearo, but juice in its own plastic container, unused. I understand that nicotine can turn dark after awhile, but this has only been a couple of days and my nicotine level is only 24 mg. Beside, I've used the same nicotine base in the past with straight menthol and it didn't turn dark. I'm thinking it must be the flavoring. Is this due to "steeping" or what? But then again, a lot of the strawberry juice that venders sell are yellow, so maybe this is normal?

Yep, you have observed the visual indicator of steeping.

Some recipes I have that start clear and turn a different color and I know they are fully steeped include:
One that turns pink when it is steeped.
One that slowly, takes 2 weeks, turns to a caramel color that is pretty close to the Kraft square caramel candy.
One that turns to a light burnt orange.

As you noticed menthol is rather boring to watch steep. It just sits there looking the same way it did days before.

My RY4's go's from clear to a dark brownish amber in 4 - 5 weeks. So don't be surprised if your light yellow color gets even yellower or maybe even amber over time it's normal. You will also notice taste changes. Some flavors get stronger over time and some mellow out. If more then one flavor is used then at first one flavor may be predominent over another and over time they will meld and blend together. This is all part of the normal process of steeping.
