I've been doing DIY since last August but trying to keep it simple. Part of simple has been seeing how little flavoring would still be a good vape. I favor a Capella flavor called cupuccino and I find it's fine at just 1%. The progress of getting down to that was all with the only atomizer I've been using exclusively, an SV rda clone from fasttech. It has a tight enough draw for MTL. It's good for single coils. But the main attraction is it gives far superior flavor to any of my other rda's. So a couple days ago I built a tried and true Tugboat which I hadn't used since going to 1% flavor and discovered, at so small a flavor percent, there was no flavor at all compared to the SV. That's sort of akward, and predictable I suppose.

So my question is, are there any other rda's known for flavor and with a tight draw for MTL? (I've got a titanium Achilles which I don't use.)

Could try the Magma and Origen V3
The origen is one I'll have to try. The SV is nice because there is just one air supply in the barrel which simplifies leak issues.

Recently I found this style of anti slip ring works well for preventing leaks and doesn't slip off coming in and out of my pocket. The downside is the awful printing. $2.58 Silicone Anti-slip Ring for E-Cigarette Atomizers / Mods (10-Pack) 10-pack - 22mm outer diameter / 18mm inner diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Hi, sofarsogood. There are other choices at FT in that particular product.

Regarding CAPS Cappuccino, I read one experienced vapor and talented mixologist say that while it tastes nothing like the coffee drink for which it's named, that it is nonetheless a very tasty vape. Do you concur? I just got some but haven't cracked it open yet. :)

I think that is a fair assessment but it didn't become true for me until I reduced it to 1%. I'm no chef vape so I can't give you much perspective except that, at 1%, I can vape it all day everyday if I want and it tastes great to me.

My mixing guidelines have turned out quite different from what I expected. I spend most of my vaping time at work where I, and the other vapers, are allowed to vape on the shop floor (hallelujah!). I'm the vape enforcer, pressuring the younger guys to either turn down the watts or be more discrete, etc. Other employees don't care but we make very expensive machines and lines of machines for wealthy industrial customers so we get high powered visitors coming to see how their millions are being spent. We don't want to annoy them.

An unexpected benefit of minimizing the flavoring is minimizing the scent for others. Now I'm interested in that. What single flavors can be a good all day vape but are less noticable to everybody else? Any of the resident experts here care to chime in on that?

And another pleasant surprise about minimal flavoring. I have to carry my stuff in pockets. Inevitably something leaks at least a little. When my liquids had strong flavoring inevitably my clothing would start to have the same odor as my vape. Not so good. When flavoring is very minimal a few drops on clothing doesn't have a dectable odor.
