Hi there ;)

I posted this question on the DIY board last night and haven't received an answer yet so I thought I would ask here because I am going out shopping ..

anyway I am attempting DIY juice and I'm wondering if I can use stevia liquid as a sweetener?
If not, where can I purchase concentrated sucralose? and is concentrated sucralose actually liquid splenda?

Stevia is naturally occuring. Splenda isn't so I'd prefer using stevia
Buy SweetLeaf SteviaClear Low Carb Liquid Stevia from Low Carb Canada at lowcarbcanada.ca
I already have this and use it to sweeten cereal or whatever else.

What is stevia?
Stevia - What Is Stevia

I really would like to stay away from splenda because it's nothing more than sugar processed to the point of not even being sugar anymore, not to mention chemicalized galore.

Not able to help with all your questions but I use sucralose and buy it in liquid form from One Stop DIY. There are several other vendors that carry it online. If you search ECF I think you will find older posts on Stevia and other sweeteners. I think most people use sucralose nowdays. Good luck.

I use Ethyl Maltol, purchased the crystal from TPA, dissolved 3ml into 30ml of PG, a few drops into DIY. It can take 4 days to a week for it to develop the full sweetness, so plan to steep.

I don't like Sucralose for a sweetener, cumulatively or dose dependent, it gives me itchy skin, mild hives, a buzzy feeling on my tongue when used with some brands of Cartos and a whopping Migraine headache! It's a chlorinated sugar chemically similar to to other chlorinated substances like DDT and pesticides! The stuff passes through the body mostly undigested due to the covalent bond of 3 chlorine atoms. In fact, it was discovered by a student looking for a pesticide. Since it's not digested and broken down in the body I'm very weary of inhaling it long term. ..that and I'm one of the people that gets a bad reaction to it. Don't take my word for it, research it out for yourself. Wikipedia, Youtube...

I also found Stevia to be kinda yuk with a bad aftertaste on the pallet.
