GOTTA Post here cuz i've been a lurker for the last yr n have no privledges yet in DIY section,so neway tpa's sweetner- sucralose just aint strong enuf 4 me,i see people using EzSweetz,n Sucralose To Go f/ Walmart for a more concentrated sweetness,my main concern with those and every other concentrated sucralose i can find 4 sale is they all use sodium benzoate as a preservative.which i have explored on wiki n other sites extensively,an evidently when its combusted it tranforms into BENZENE,which is highly toxic and carcinogenic AND Should not be inhaled...any thoughts on this, any like alternatives?btw stevia tastes funny,i want sugar-like sweet,w/out any benzene.

Here is a site that has vape safe sweetener

http://www.ecigexpress.com/diy-flavoring-menthol-hot-cold-additives-c-16_42

So this would beg the question is that only when you put fire to Sucralose cause a chemical change but what if you not putting fire to it and heating it with electricity does it do the same thing? It has a very high heating point of 450 degrees at that point it melts. So we are heating up the solution to cause the vaper not burning the solution. It would be pretty much the same as heating it up in the oven in food.

Adding= after a bit of research the sodium benzoate comes only in the liquid as a preserative.

this is a company that has pure sucralose. Im pretty sure you can desolve it in PG or VG or even distilled water. VG is a preservative also.

Start in the DIY section here rather than Wiki,, Read all the stickies, because as you have noted there are certain things that you really should not be doing by trial and error, some real good tips on DIY.... there are some excellent diy blogs. Just about any question you can ask can be searched without posting in the diy section and you will probably have multiple answers.

Good luck!

Ah yes,ty,thats wat im lookin 4.gonna have 2 pony up the $40+bucks when you add shipping for 2 ounces of pure sucralose powder.they have the liquid 4 cheaper, but of course they hadda add that damn sodium benzoate to it.i bet so many people are being exposed to that nasty and not even relize its a preservative in alot of stuff.theres other preservatives that could be used rather than that benzoate...citric acid for example.

before you start doing anything go to the DYI part of this forum and read. The companies that have suppies for DYI im sure make their own sweetener. I would never buy a prepackaged sweetner from walmart.

I would check this place out first Sweetener Flavor Concentrate (TFA)

If I were to get into DIY sweeteners, i'd avoid all the chemical sweeteners on the market (which have no studies on inhalation btw), and go for a Stevia concentrate liquid. Stevia in this form contain the extracts from the plant, and are concentrated into liquid form. Your taste will adjust to the Stevia flavor over time. Mine has.
