Ok here's the deal I got my self abunch of DIYflavorshack e-liquid in trade and I like the flavor's very much but it keeps blocking up my 901 attys. I find my self having to do a few atty dry burns per day to keep the attys making vapor. I fear doing all the dry burns will shorten the life of my attys and no one likes dead attys. So I have been thinking maybe if I got some unflavored e-liquid and cut the flavorshack juice down it may solve this problem. But at the same time I'm not wanting to loss all the flavor. Any of you DIY liquid makers out there have advice as to how much flavorshack to how much unflavored I should try? Or If maybe I should just mix the flavorshack with some vodka or something. Only other thing I can think of is getting a 5 volt mod or trading the flavorshack juice to someone with a 5volt. I also have a 510 mod I use and the flavorshack does not block up the 510 but I would rather use my 901's..

Thanx

You say it "keeps blocking up my 901 attys." More than one? Have you had a problem with those 901 atomizers using other juice? If it is only one atty and it gets blocked with other juices as well, clearly that's a hardware problem.

However, if only this juice is blocking up your attys and it's not just one atty, it would seem to be the e-liquid.

DIYflavorshack sells many different kinds of e-liquid and supplies: premixed PG-based, premixed VG-based, double-flavored, plain PG, plain VG, and flavorings. [NOTE: PG = Propylene Glycol; VG = Vegetable Glycerin]

Do you know what you have?

VG is more syrupy; that might be a factor. Some flavorings are gunkier (that's the technical term) than others, so that might be a factor as well.

But we're just speculating. Why don't you contact DIYflavorshack? I've read here that they are friendly and accommodating (as are most suppliers in this industry). They probably would be better able to advise you.

If you do decide to dilute the thickness of the juice but don't want to lose flavor or nicotine strength, you could add in other flavoring and/or high-nicotine juice (to balance it out) from DIYflavorshack or other suppliers, e.g., those referenced in the DIY portion of Part 6 of the WWV Illustrated Guide.

And you may want to post your question in ECF's DIY e-liquid forum.
