My friend only smokes Djarum cloves and he is now looking to start using an ecig. I gave him some websites where he can buy an ecig but what about clove juice?

Heaven-Gifts sells black DJARUM clove juice that I've never tried, and Rocky Mountain has clove juice but they are currently out of stock on the 510. I want my friend to be able to get a 510 (if thats what he wants) and some good clove/Djarum juice from a U.S. supplier if possible.

Also opinions on the best clove/Djarum juice would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I was a menthol clove smoker, and originally started the ecigs when I found out about the ban on cloves. Figured maybe I could find something to substitute for that flavor, which I just loved.
Well, it didn't turn out at all like I planned.
First, I totally stopped smoking, from the very first day. In fact, there are 4 cartons of cloves sitting on my shelf that don't even call me. I just haven't figured out what to do with them.
But, as to clove flavor... I have not yet found one that I like. I still keep trying, but it hasn't mattered nearly as much as I expected.
My advice, then, is this:
First, have him try a bunch of flavors with *your* ecig, and figure out if this is something he wants to pursue further. If you can find a flavor or two that taste good to him right off the bat, then buy him a kit, and some juice.
Next, help him through that period when his taste buds are still being resurected. Because nothing will taste the same after he has been vaping for a month or so. Help him walk that wall where he has enough supplies to get by without running out, but hasn't bought up the entire world.
After a month or two, that is the time to start working on the clove stuff. There are quite a few people here who have been working on this, and some feel like they have come really close. So you can study up on what others have tried, and go from there.
I hope this helps him avoid some mistakes I made.

I too loved my Clove Cigs, though I was a Bali Hai fan. The Clove juice i got from RMV wasnt bad per se, but just wasnt what i hoped. What I did find though was using clove flavoring from Loranns in a tobacco flavor juice has about the right flavor. I have experimented with differant tobacco flavor juices and found that Marb-Bro (USA MIX) provides a very clove cig flavor with the clove flavoring. Though I enjoied it more when mixed with 555. THough its not the same, its awesome! Especially with a touch of menthol. Anyway, just my 2 cents!

I like my clove juice (PG) but when I got some VG vanilla and VG Peach I relized how flavorful e-cigs can get! So in all, clove just needs to be stronger. If you match the taste of what burning clove would taste like, you would get pretty damn close to a djarum black (I too was a kretek guy ;) )

Im looking into making the perfect blend as cloves still appeal to me. So in a couple of months I will post and rave when I find the blend ;)

I can honestly tell you (as a vendor) that any djarum black liquid made by DeKang is horribly short of it's namesake. I'm a huge fan of Djarum clove cigarettes and love the sweet taste that it left on my lips and the numbing sensation it created on my lips, tongue, and throat.

With that said, I've been on a personal quest to find a liquid that comes close. Unfortunately, every "clove" liquid I've tried tastes like the cooking clove and not a Djarum clove cigarette. I was fortunate to have a fellow vaper provide me his bottle of clove liquid that was surprisingly good and provided that numbing sensation. Unfortunately, he could not remember which vendor he got it from. So, that bottle is held in my safe until I can find the time to fiddle with it to try to create that Djarum taste. I'm thinking it needs some anise and cinammon flavor to truly mimic my beloved Djarums....just haven't taken the time to find the anise and cinammon flavors that I would want to add to this liquid.

It would definitely need a little anise and cinnamon. If you can get it down, PM me a recipe or a place where you can sell me some, I'd love a clove flavor.

I was a black smoker for a few years when I was in my 20´s. I ordered a bottle of clove juice and found it only had a slight clove taste. What your friend is going to lack is all the other stuff they do to a black to make it the way it is.

The filter is coated in a kind of juice on a black using cardamon and cinnamon along with a few other things that gives you the sweet lick. Also, the tobacco in blacks is an Asian variety with the punch of the actual ground cloves. I think a few mixtures might get close, but I have only tried the one clove juice.

I am curious to see if he gets something similar by mixing. Please PM me also if a good mixture is found, thanks.
