Hello Folks:
I'm hoping someone can help me trouble shoot my dna build. This is my first dna project. I've been following the instructions the imminent Mamu posted for the Milo build. I soldered everything up with short leads and mounted the chip in the case for final fitting and trimming of the wires. At this point I thought it would be a good idea to test it. The chip powers up and the adjustments work fine. The battery reads as full and the resistance is displayed. But when I engage the fire button I get a "Check Atomizer" error. I get no continuity between the 510 post and housing.

I'm stumped.

Thanks for the help!

Shawn

It could be your twisted wire connection. I would try soldering or using wire nuts for a temp connection. Also make sure your center pin is making good contact in the connector. A barely touching center pin or loose twisted wires may provide a good enough connection to read the resistance but not handle the load when pressing the fire button.

I guess it could be the battery, but I would figure the DNA would throw a battery error instead. That's definitely something to try.

What type of atty are you using?

Have you tried different atty's?

I'm still leaning toward a light touching center pin or if a rebuild-able atty possibly a loose or touching coil connection.
