How did you change the colour pull the board apart?

no i did not pull the board apart lol.

as i said in the description a couple of posts ago i just took the fromt face plate off my mod to do the ribon fix on it .

before putting the front cover back on i saw there was no screen protector so i cut a small piece of plastic packing to fit over the screen then replaced the front cover .

a couple of days later i cut another piece that i had coloured red with some red clearcoat model paint and added that also to give the redish orange tint .

if you were to try different colours you could prob come up with other colours on the screen as yozhik mentions its not a full spectrum display so you would just have to experiment with different colour tinted plastics to see what you can achieve .

as the normal screen is blue a yellow tint may give a nice green effect as JMarca is going to try can you post the results so we can see how it looks with the yellow tint added .

ughh. just saw a pic of someone who had like a purple tinted screen! said he used a film? diddnt go too much into detail tho. but im assiming just use a transparent color film....but how to i do this? ive never taken my releaux apart is it pretty easy to pull the faceplate off? im just nervous i dont wanna mess anything up. and once/if i do get it apart...just put the film on the screen and replace everything? how does the film stay on?

Unscrew the bottom 4 screws in the battery tray. The bottom front panel comes off, apply some colored tape and screw it back together.
