thank you. my usb 3.0 hub can give an amp. I had no idea cables could limit it. I know the current sony wall charger should provide at least an amp. it is rated to provide 2.5a to a netbook. I will check out my cables. however even at 500ma these things should not be taking 8 hours. every mod does on same electrical receptacle. I will try an outlet without gfci. I suppose it is possible the gici is limiting that through rf transmission but I really have no idea. I will do as you say and try another outlet as well. if that fails there might be some electrical voodoo in my home. the strange thing is recovery can get them up to 4.2v in a few minutes. I would not do that unless necessary though.

on another note I actually do remain liking hana the best. even with their failure rate. they always took care of me but I went in person. I noticed on the lost vape I can see ripples in the stuck on cf. that is no wonder because it has adhesive backing. I would really like the wismec or the one posted a page back. don't even know which that one is? looks fancy. I am just thinking 18650 is more reliable than these lipo's. they should be like a hybrid car and charge in 5 minutes. of course that is 480 volts at 200 amps.

edit: I see that the provari radius evolved does not exist lol. that would be pretty nice though.

retird, I was wondering if you also use the triton out of necessity. I have no choice if someone will not build for me. either way it is pretty close. now they have claptons.

guys, I am wondering something. why are these lipo's 900-1350mah taking me 8 hours to charge? I have tried different chargers. currently a 2.5 amp sony charger for net book. everyone tells me theirs charges in 1.5 hours. I checked the wall voltage and it is 113. my cable or something? it is a gfci so maybe that is why but I doubt that.

also, this is very strange. hana tastes better to me than vs or lost vape. I am guessing that is my imagination though. or is it?

I am sorry I am no value on the technical stuff. I did try what you say too vlad. like retird the triton behaves the same. no doubt there are issues. especially if you go looking for them I suppose. I don't mind, but dead is where I draw the line. mine are dropping like flies. I wonder if this all due to my outlet.

I use only premade coils because I just like "plug and play vaping". I don't want to fiddle with coil building. Works for me.

DNA200 boards have a 1 amp charger and hooking it to a 2.5 amp external charger won't get it to charge at 2.5 amps. The VShark has a faster charger build into the DNA200 board specially made for VShark. It charges rather quickly.

Perhaps an option to disable that feature if one didn't want it like me. One problem with how it is currently is that the Preheat setting requirement to reach 150F to keep it in TL mode will be different dependent on the type & size of the coil's being used by the individual.

Sounds reasonable. Maybe set an on/off that can lock it in TL at the profile level. Till they see if/when they need to address this I'm comfortable in knowing adjusting preheat can resolve the drop out issue quite easily. Alot of things can be user defined to adjust for different coil's being used and preheat is just one such tool.

dang. I just noticed the last day and a half I was using a new mod with ni200 not in temp mode! it was actually vaping good. since I also did not notice it was at 20 watts lol. I heard that is a good way to blow a battery too. maybe not a lipo. I have no idea how I did not notice that. do not look at display much and must have forgot to upload settings when I was done. duh.

retird. that is really nice to hear the triton is good enough for you. some people complain it is not an rba but I think it is pretty darn close too. clearos have come a long way since ego sticks. luckily for folks like me. just wish it had bigger fill holes but can manage somehow.

Must say I have been thinking of getting a Triton but I already have many Atlantis tanks which serve me just fine. Who knows, Christmas is coming....maybe a new 200 device with a Triton attached will find it's way into the stocking.

I just purchased the Triton 2 and it really is amazing. The flavor is awesome with the Clapton coils. Honestly, I don't see any difference between it and a dripper. But, I realize that's just my opinion... I just wish Aspire would produce and rebuildable for it like they did with the Triton 1. A rebuildable with the T2 and some NiFe30 would be... well, I can't think of much that could be better.

I can't keep up with this sport. triton 2? whats new on it? ill try to go look but please tell me anyways!

more importantly I am so friggin stupid with those filing station cables. bought 6 of them already. used good braided cable and vs charged in a whopping 40 minutes! egads.

edit: ahh I see mainly better airflow adjustment. me likes. does it still have the tiny fill holes? gotta wait till b&m gets it.

Just about every thing that you would buy a DNA200 for.
Take a look as this:
EScribe Training Simulator v9.5

Simple answer is you will be limited to Ni200 and Power mode without utilizing Escribe. You won't be able to change Profiles, TCR's, set your battery capacity or discharge curve, determine your mods resistance or change Preheat, Preheat Punch & Preheat duration and a host of other configurations that aren't necessarily related to the production of vapor.

You would be able to vape in Power mode and use some Ni200 coils if they're large enough that the default 200w Preheat isn't too much for them.

Many mac users have DNA200's and run EScribe (windows) from their mac's
Some have had success using Virtual Machines on Mac's. I missed that comment in your post. But look around there are some work arounds for Mac users.

yes, but i read on escribe forum that it doesn't work with El Capitan OSX. unless i use 50G of disk space to bootcamp my mac, it seems that getting a cheap window tab might be a better option for a dna200 mod.

just ask somebody you know that has a windows PC?

man I wish I found a place in europe that sells sweetspot's titanium. bought titanium from a german company and TC does NOT work with it. mod says its like 550 degrees after a fraction of a second. microcoils = fire. once the mod said it was like 650.

then some guy was all like "titanium doesn't work with micro coils" so I tried spaced coils but still the same thing. 450-500 barely any vapor. 600F a ton of vapor but the legs just burned up.

might just be the wire. since it just looks odd. like it has these darker line marks on it. not to mention that it is SPRINGY AS HELL. like I bought 27 gauge ni200 from that place. that wire is stiff and easy to work with. but the 26 gauge titanium which is supposed to be easier is springy and flies all over the place.
