I know this is old but I am disgusted. I do/did like hana cases. there internals simply suck. I have been up there numerous times. it is perfectly legal to be carrying in Illinois. I am a consummate gentleman by nature. however the presence of it oddly makes most people be very nice. that is actually a shame in fact but whatever. they were plenty helpful at not being helpful. I got a new battery. took it home and charged it. 15 minutes later it exploded. if that was in my face I might not be typing this now.
anyways got lost vape. looks nice. I think it's usb port may be more fragile than hana even. I expect the flash symbol through the battery. not there. don't even know if it is charging. besides that the common battery connector is great. however, you have to peel off the panel at that point. I envision that breaking then. I think they are Chinese. Chinese have done well in this market so I have no complaints there. even though I used to. otherwise the craftsmanship reminds me of a custom mod. perhaps until I go take it apart. if it does not malfunction it is fine. I am betting it does though.
so whom makes a seriously high quality dna 200 mod at this point? I would actually like to go with three 18650's this time. I know that one French sounding one but is it serious quality? the 3d printed stuff I bank is even worse but I have no idea.
guys, I can't keep wasting my money on these. is there one that really stands out? I would really appreciate your guys input in this matter. the dna 200 board is currently the ticket but does anyone put it together with attention? I cannot do it myself. I used to be a machining and electrical master. no longer.
I apologize I have brought up old stuff but I am really getting frustrated with the quality of these things. imo yihi is much worse quality though. they do have an okay board.
thanks
The v200 is a nice mod but it's pretty much a ripoff of the Evolv beta case. The screen ribbon was pinched and they gave me the runaround for over a week and then just stopped answering my emails. I decided to fix it myself since I had 2 extra DNA200 boards. I contacted Evolv and they sent me a replacement screen the same day. It was working great until a couple of weeks ago and the ohms started reading high. I thought it was my atomizer but it was the same with 5 other atomizers. I sent Hana an email and no response for 4 days. I opened a ticket with Evolv and they told me it was because it didn't have a ground wire. I don't have the proper flux to solder to SS and it only sells in gallon jugs for $75 so I sent it to Evolv. They fixed it and sent it out the same day they received it (I was tracking the package). I do like the v200 but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone just because of the horrible CS from Hana.
My Vaporshark DNA200 is really nice but the button lost it's click, causing intermittent firing and locking while in mid-vape. I just sent that back to VS and they shipped it back the day after they received it (ok, I stalk my packages
The only other DNA200 mod I would consider is the Hcigar VT200 (not the VapeCige VTbox200). That looks like a well made mod.
I think the SX350j is a crap board. I had 2 and sold them.
