Are LiPo batteries hot swappable on the VaporShark. Using FullyMAX stock ones? I know theres some configuration required for battery setup, so if I bought a new one would it be bad to just swap it in and out with the one I have as there settings should be similar?

I don't see why not as long as it's the same mah (no need to change settings then) and it's not hard wired (I don't have the VS). However, the VS supports 2amp zip charging. With a wall wart that supplies 2amps, a full charge would only take 1-1.5 hours. Something to consider.

Edit Something like this would also be a great portable option for 2 amp zip charging.

Pbusardo first look

A magnetic battery door open to a “user serviceable” battery, but it’s not going to be quite as easy as swapping out an 18650.
The balance connector is plug in, as are the mains, albeit under some heat wrap.
Getting the wires back in and making the battery door sit firmly again is a challenge.
I know, I lived it. Also, be gentle as leads could easily break….unfortunately, I know this first hand as well… see photos.
If you don’t need to take that battery out…don’t do it!! I’m not convinced this is a task for everyone.

A complete newb question as this is my first DNA200 device.

My diy VT200 enclosure from Hcigar is wired up and I'm charging it - I've set the capacity at 14.43.
Does this have any bearing on the charge levels and the capacity in the device monitor tab, or are these real world actual readings from the battery?

I have a VT200 and when I set mine to 14.43WH, the only thing it seemed to affect was the battery meter (I believe charging cutoff and soft battery cutoff are done off the actual voltage as read by the chip). Mine would go from about 1/4 to weak battery. When I changed it to 12WH, the meter seems to be much more accurate (I truly believe the supplied battery isn't 1300mah. I would say it's somewhere between 1000-1100mah). Other than the fact, I wish it really was 1300mah, I really like mine! Good luck with yours!

Best to run battery analyzer (Mod Tab/Manufacturers settings/Battery Analyzer).

If you built your device you should run Case Analyzer also.

The device monitor is about to stop charging the lipo pack, it's saying the charge is 13.730 which would mean the is actual capacity is as 13.00mah stated.
This is a "V2" battery so I'm wondering if the capacity is the stated one as opposed to an artificially generated capacity.

The charger uses the cell voltages to decide what to do, the Wh and curve are for the battery bar & the soft cut off controls when it gives a weak battery warning.

I put my crown on my dna200, both releaux and lavabox, set it at 60w. And it jumps up to 128 or even 140w when I have it set on 60? Only at times? giving me horribly dry hits and making me mad any ideas

You don't have it set in TC mode right. I'm sure you don't but that's one thing I could see doing that. Or if something is going on with both of your devices. What coil are you using for the crown?

No its not in tc mode. I've got the dual 0.25 kanthal. But with my rdas there is no problem. I already switched out the crown coil once. Something with the tank??

I had issues with my crown tank. I called uwell and told them the issues and they were awesome. They sent me a new airflow/510 portion of the tank plus a new rba section and 3 .25 coils. I explained my situation and they sent out everything the next day. I would give them a call and explain your situation.

What do you have your preheat set at? It comes factory set to 200 watts. I would suggest lowering it to around 100 or so if you haven't already done so in Escribe.

Lol. I'm laughing at myself but they were both in temp mode for some reason.. I don't have temp showing on my screens so it didn't show me. Must of automatically did it when I unplugged it from escribe

The vt200 dont come setup with profiles. So it has temp turned on and set at 200 watts

These are my first regulated mods that a darn near perfect. both the mods and chip. the chip is awesome. I know there will be a better one but I could easily stop here. I even found out I prefer charging usb.

Am I the only one who is kinda surprised that evolv hasn't updated the DNA 200 or escribe in a while.

a ton of people want the option to increase temperature instead of wattage on temp control and no response from evolv.
