that's actually pretty quick, and you can probably find a chart showing trip time vs amperage. it varies.

Would you be able to post a pic of what you mean? I'm having a little trouble imagining it, I'm not that familiar with SMT stuff. Exactly where are the solder points on these? Just the pads or the whole sides?

How would you test to see if it survived the soldering?

Here's a picture. The soldered fuses are the small black component in front of the mod (two stacked on top of each other).



Solder the entire sides together. Measure resistance between the pads after soldering to verify you did not damage them by excessive heating (it should read < 0.05Ω).
