I have a Cloupor dna 30 Cana clone as well. Had it for a three days now, and it's working perfectly with non of the little flaws that even reviewers have had. To Bepalmer, I think you inserted the new batt backwards which fried the chip. There is no reverse batt protection, so the batt must be inserted positive side up. If not, the chip fries and will need to be replaced

I have a clone from Elev8Vape, works great. I've heard of people having problems with clones, but mine gets worked hard every day, and holds up.

That said, as an engineer, I am not impressed with the internal wiring. I will probably redo it myself soon with high quality wires. I am very good at soldering though, so I don't recommend this to everyone.

I've been using my Cloupor 30W I got from 101vape since I got it June 6th. I've used everything from .5 ohms up to 2.5 ohms without any real problems. Only thing I've seen from mine is occasionally having to hit the fire button once before coming out of sleep then a second to use it. Other than that I have a EHpro Omega Clone that won't make contact and fire it it without using something like a 510/510 adapter or air controller device. I've yet to find a way to get the 510 pin on the Omega out at all as their is very little clearance between the outer and inner parts of the connector.

I have a hana clone and an actual authentic hana dna 30 mod. My original intent was to sell the authentic mod if the clone performed like the real deal. This was not the case. The authentic mod performs better than the clone. The clone does not output as much power as the authentic hana. At this point I am not using either the clone or the dna 30 since I just bought the IPV V2 50 watt box mod. This thing is awesome and ths battery last pretty long (vtc5). At the moment I am vaping a dual coil .7 ohm coil in the fogger 4 plus at 33 watts (4.8 volts) and it last all day. It really kicks ... you can pick one up for $80 from elev8 and wait a while or hit up originvapes. I paid $30 more but I got it asap. Their customer service is top notch and they respond to emails. Eric the owner is awesome and an honest guy....

Polite correction on elev8 price cadster0103 mentioned.

They were told by pioneer4you to sell at the recommended MSRP of 109 or no longer receive new shipments.
Their 79 dollar prerelease sales stunt cost them precious time when they got caught. Now tons of folks are ...... for waiting.
They have now adjusted the price on their web site (but given the amount of fussing about them on this forum i suspect few will return to shop)

I too paid a little more but got mine in 2 days. (it hit vendor on friday 7/18 and i was enjoying it by lunch time on monday 7/21!!)

I have a DNA 20 clone and am having a issue! Can ANYONE HELP?
So i put a Sony VTC4 in my Evlov DNA 20 the other night ( took out the EFest and literally put in the sony) and the box or wires started to instantly smoke. So i took out the Sony and put the eFest back in and nothing. No power No display! Is my board screwed now? HELP!

Sounds like a reverse polarity issue; I thought the chipset had built-in reverse polarity protection?

DNA chip sets, real or clone DO NOT have reverse battery protection.

And for the OP, I recommend holding out for a real DNA 30, there have been mixed reviews of the clones, and if you get a working one how long will it work?

If you have the money you can get a ZNA with the real DNA 30 in stock at Zenesis Hybrid Apv's | ElectronicStix.Com
The research and testing the guys at Evolv put into their chips is insane and the ZNA puts it into a beautiful form factor that takes a 18490 battery (you can also buy 18650 tubes for it for longer battery life)
I love mine and don't regret spending the money for it.
