of coarse new cells!:D

i was thinking 10ml Capacity with 3000mAh and DNA30 should be good for a "weekender" bottom feeder... and possibly a shoulder strap!
i'll possibly still run a balance port just keep myself on the safe side.

Keep us updated with your testing :toast:

Sounds silly saying to use NEW batteries but you wouldn't believe the crazies out there that not only use USED batteries but also use different manufactures batteries.
Just trying to keep it safe.
I've been using parallel batts for 3 yrs now in mods. Fuses are our friend and stupid is dangerous.

And to think I was gonna be stalking the classy's for a dna20. Not now. Dont get me wrong its great that vaping tech is evolving (pun intended) so quickly, but it does definitely suck to buy a new 200 plus dollar mod only for the newer, greater, better thing to come out a month later. On the bright side DNA20 mods will become way more availible in the classifieds for cheaper prices now.

he-he...... 20 watts is still overkill for most vapers.... and 30 watts is way over the top for anyone not vaping sub-ohm coils.....I think there will be plenty of room for both the 20d and 30d in the market.....

Yeah what retird said.....I was doing some limit testing and had a 0.3Ω Mundy Magic coil setup in my little cyclone dripper and at 30w OMG!!! did it get hot after not very long. The atty and the drip tip where burn the living beep out of you hot, not just uncomfortable hot.

Yeah, I was using a metal drip tip and it got pretty warm. I didn't want to vape it too long at 0.5 watts.
It's good for an emergency. If you ever get stranded in a snow storm, it would warm you right up

I think it just come to "mines bigger than yours even if I don't know how to use all of it" lol

I mean in reality I'll never Vape at 30 watts, hell my drip tip on the cyclone was already getting uncomfortably hot at 20w but it sure is nice just to have it for the power outages hahaha

Exactly what this guy said :). I dont know why I want the biggest and baddest and newest even when its impractical, uneccasary and unneeded........ but I do :)

Yep I think that was chatted on ECF (and other forums) a long time ago with the 20d...... the board was designed to be as small as possible so it could be included in tube-type mods.....

As you can see the board in its current size has no room for drilling any mounting holes....

An option you could use is to get an interconnect circuit board or perf board (http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...ce=CAT&znt_medium=RSCOM&znt_content=CT2032230 ) ( http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...ce=CAT&znt_medium=RSCOM&znt_content=CT2032230 ) and cut it to the size you desire. You can drill your own mounting holes on the board. Then you could mount the dna board to it....

I'm super disappointed in the DNA30D update, my biggest niggle with the 20D was it only goes down to 7 watts. Not addressing this will bite Evolv in the coming months.

Just because you want maximum power doesn't mean you don't also want lower as well.

Nothing against this mod, it's a beauty and I would love to have one. It is just aggravating one needs to carry another mod because of Evolvs' short sightedness, my wife likes taking an occasional toot off my device while we're out and about but she hates the taste/heat above 5.5 watts.
