DNA 40 Powered REO Grand

Well, all I have left to do is a little waterproofing, and she'll be 100%. That's actually what I'll be doing for the next little while, so I'll be away from the computer...

I just wanted to go ahead and post it up before I apply the Ice Resin to the screen. It's a 3 day cure, so it'll be put away for a few days.

Beyond jealous, it's amazing seeing what you can do. If I ever got a DNA30 I'd be set. I love regulated, but love the Reo's too much to use my IPV3 anymore.

Just curious, the aluminum block portion under where the bottle sits, why wouldn't you mill that down so it allows for a taller bottle and you don't see the block thru the hole in the door. Just an idea, looks awesome man.

No room under there man. Very tight, cramming it all under there. I have a sheet of 16g 6061 aluminum I'll be making a couple doors out of. That way, I can put the hole a little higher.

I will be. I've got 28g and 30g Ni200 ready and waiting. I just finished it today. Gotta wait for the Ice Resin that I applied to the screen to cure before I can really use it. Can't wait.

I haven't had much luck with any Ni200 builds on a DNA40 but just started playing around a bit here and there with it. My juice likes to be hot or the flavor profile for me is terrible. Let me know what you find and how it works for you. It would be much easier for me if I had a DNA40 squonk box with a great atty where I could easily adjust the coil position. I am using 30g 8wraps for a .14-.16ish ohm coil. I am wrapping spaced coils ~2.3mm (threaded screw I had laying around). I might try a tight wrapped coil on the next build and see what happens.

I found the nickel to be too finicky and just started using titanium grade one 24 gg to use the TC (there is a chart to convert the temp). In my sixth year of vaping and this is my first regulated device. The custom build looks incredible. Keep us posted.
