DNA says shorted

So I went and thought I would just build a sub ohm build on my tobh, I got some 24 kanthal wrapped 4 wraps on a 3/32 drill, this being a dual coil build

Showing .2 on my meter.....put it on my dna 30 to pulse it and tidy up the coils, and it says shorted, i looked and everything is clean and in its place.

So I take it off the DNA and put it on my Nemesis and the coils pulse nicely.

Why did it say shorted on my DNA, is it that it was to low for the DNA and it protected it.....AND ME

This is my first sub ohm, well at least this low and with 24, beside a single coil I did on my Plume that was .4, and by the way was awsome.....And worked on my DNA, so I'm just a little confused

Minimum coil on a DNA 30 is .5, you must have got lucky with the .4.

Do you have a clone? Some clones fire down to .3ohm.
Worthless running a DNA (clone) like this as it just dumps battery voltage in a very inefficient way.
A quality mech would be a much better choice than running a DNA clone like that.
