DNA12 questions

I tried searching here on the forums, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I am looking for any information on using an LCD volt meter and/or battery indicator with a DNA12 build. Is it possible to connect an LCD to the chip to measure the output voltage? I know you have to use a potentiometer to adjust the voltage, but I would like an actual number for what it is set for.

Any help would be awesome.

You can use a standard volt reading segmented LCD for that. Just put it in parallel with the atomizer.

OK Thanks. Next question. I want to put an on-off switch on this so it doesn't fire in a pocket. Just a simple toggle switch on the battery lead. Not having a huge electrical background, I'm a little confused with the ratings and what I would need.

I'm looking at micro toggle or slide switches. Most of the ones I've found that small say 50mA max rating. Is that too low for what I am using?

That switch will not work in-line with the battery.....

it would work in-line with the fire button.....just place it in-line with one of the wires from the chip to the fire switch....

very expensive when micro and high amp switch you can find them easily in a google search
I hacked a dust buster vacuum switch for my high amp momentary switch
rockers are inexpensive high current and look great in mods micro on/off
