Hey guys. John again. Im reading up on these 20 and 50 watt mods and struggling to find the beauty...I ohm out at .2 at 4 volts
(mech) so im running 90 plus watts. this 50 watt mod says it can run .7 at 6 volts. That's cool but hows the vapor production and such. Another guy says that the 50 watt device will "knock his head off", how? I guess I don't understand what makes these different. Any input would be appreciated! thanks

well first off, a .2 ohm build at 4 volts is more like 80 watts. at 4.2, not counting voltage drop, that's a max of 88.2 watts. Still sounds a little bit overboard to me, but the most I've done is 34 watts.

Vapping at high watts atomizes much more juice, so you are getting a lot more vape, nic, and flavor at higher watts, but must have an atomizer that can wick well enough and supply enough air so that there is not a heat build up.

So am really not understanding your question. You are say that you currently vape a .2 ohm build, and vape in the 80 watt range and can't understand that someone who is now vaping at 50 watts saying that it knocks his head off? Compare to 8 watts, 50 watt vape is going to be a head knocker. Know there is such a thing as diminishing returns though. Vaping at 34 watts is not twice as good as vaping at 15 watts for example, it's different, even real good, and I doubt the vaping at 80 watts is eight times better than vaping at 8 watts. All that I can testify to is that I enjoy my vape at both 15 watts and 34 watts, haven't tried anything higher, and my juice consumption is high enough at my current levels.

Have a look at this video; Resistance & Air Flow. It's not about the power source and there's more to it than just high power.

Totally agree with both posters above. Vaping relies on power, airflow, atomizer design, vaping technique, liquid used, temperature. Power alone is not the answer and is unnecessarily dangerous. Not to say that there is no reason to do it, but please make sure that you COMPLETELY understand how to so it safely. Good luck, be safe and have fun!

To have a 50 watt regulated/protected Mod will offer battery protection that your mech will not.

Vaping at 0.2 ohms is risky. Although there are batteries that can handle the amps being pumped through a 0.2 coil.... No battery can handle a 0.1 ohm coil... So if for some reason your .2 coil drops in resistance (which can happen) you end up way over the amp limit of the best batteries that are out there

you can still get a nic buzz using 4mg juice.
only drawback i see (which everyone seems to ignore) is now your inhaling 4 cubic yards of vapor to do it.

50 watts is to crazy for the average person. So for me it is unnecessary.

It will be the perfect power supply for me. I vape between 15 and 30 watts. Being able to do that with the safety of a regulated mod and even power output through the life of the battery will be extremely welcome.
