dna200 causing computer crash.

So i use escribe on a new lenovo yoga, which is more than capable of handling the task. my lavabox dna200 used to work fine when i plugged in to use escribe. i tried earlier this week to connect it after a few months of normal use, and it made my laptop crash. like totally reboot. Im using the same computer for escribe with a few orions and have no issues. Any idea/suggestions? only thing ive changed recently was turning hardware virtualization on.

thanks i appreciate that. Didnt't even consider the cable... assumed if it could connect my orion to escribe, it could handle the dna200....I'll try a different cable=)

Would have thought newer USB ports should dumb down when connecting to older devices? Hmm...

To the OP: have you verified that the mod still takes a charge over USB from a plain old wall adapter? [EDIT] What happens if you turn hardware virtualization off?

This may or may not help......have you tried turning hardware virtualization off and then rebooting your system and see if that works?

The 2nd USB cable you tried you are certain it's known good? Sorry, gotta ask.

If so unplug them, reboot and retry.
