Agreed. I own a proVari and I have yet to really vape on 6v it just seems burt. I actually really really enjoy the 1.7 single coil resurrectors at 4.0 volts on my proVari, produces clouds of vapor, lots of flavor, and a nice TH.

That clears things up for me 
I have a bullet stacked at 6V. I needed it to get past the Analogs, I blew out the Ego T within an hour.
Even when sampling at the store, most the flavors seemed muted. I was told that having only quit a month ago that my taste buds were likely shot. I do like the taste that the little disposable blu-cig gives me but it did not hold up. I was burning them up in 6 to 8 hours so I ran out and bought the ego T. With in an hour it was blown out so I went back and they set me up with a bullet with 3V times 2.
Been vaping now about 2 months @ 6 volts. No real flavors or just the hint of them. I agree however, I like the unit best in the AM with a fresh set of Batteries so I am likely getting over 6 Volts.
Not sure what direction to head next. Some DYI juice with more flavors or a different voltage. Unless I change mods, I don't think 3.7 V is going to cut it.
Maybe it is the Carto vs the Atty but I like my tank... not sure what to do next.

I use a reo grand at 6v and it eliminates the need for a carto, tank, or dripping but has all the same qualities-great for when you are driving because its no look operation and very hard to flood. Same stack batts as the bullet.
