The problem with clone coils is... they are clones - never know what you are going to get. There isn't just "a clone". If you look at listings for them on FT some are good, some not. Doesn't the site you are looking at have any reviews posted?
One of the things I like about Aspire is the Authentication Codes and anyone I know of who got clones instead of the real McCoy's had unfavorable experiences. Since the average price of authentic atomizers is relatively inexpensive why buy clones or fakes?
I can't see why people put up the the outrageous 'dud' rate from authentic coils. Don't know if clones could be much worse or not. Some of the Aspire coils are easily rebuildable. IMHO that is the way you should be looking to go both for the cost savings and self reliance in todays cold climate toward the future of vaping.
I have tried both and IMHO there is a noticeable difference. The clones were not consistent in flavor. Also both the 1.6 and 1.8 ohm clones were all over the board on the actual ohms reading. They also only lasted about half the time as the authentics.
In all the packs of Authentic coils I have bought I never had a dud or defect. A fellow vaper recently got fakes or clones and had a 100% failure rate.
7 years and I never had a fake until now. I got aspire BVD's and they've been nothing but trouble. They all get stuck when I unscrew to refill. They get stuck to the wrong part, then break when I try to get them out. I guess the fit is a bit off.
