Haven't seen any 3 battery cases, but they often ship properly boxed and many include a plastic case if ordered in pairs.
If you are purchasing an RX200, you will want an external charger and maybe pick up 6 batteries for rotation.
The best flat tops for vaping are generally considered not consumer products so they are packaged in bulk. I make sure to have a silicone sleeve for every battery so it's either in a mod, a charger or the sleeve. These batteries should never be floating around loose with unprotected terminals. A couple months ago I received two LG HG2's from fasttech. They came in a plastic case I'm sure was provided by FT, not LG packaging.
I had to pay some dues, do some studying to understand the battery questions. The mod manufacturers would prefer you use the highest amp battery obtainable for the greatest safety margin but then you get less endurance. I use the LG HG2's (3,000 mah) because they give noticably better endurance but max out at 20 amp rating. Other batteries with a higher rating like 25 amps have less capacity, say 2500 mah. I did the math to decide my battery choice. You should learn to use the steam engine calculator and understand the values or get a mod with built in batteries. I never go above 30 max watts. So the draw on the battery is around 7 amps, a margin far enough below the HG2 20 amp rating that I choose to be comfortable with. If you are going to fire at much higher watts you might want to be looking for a higher amp rating.Right, so they won't be wrapped in plastic? I will indeed be getting the RX200 and want to just go to a local B&M (or 2) to get everything I need today without the wait! I just want to ensure that they are indeed brand new so they won't be wrapped in plastic or sealed in any way?
While we're on this topic do you have a recommendation for batteries? I'm reading LG HG2 but is there an advantage to getting something else or getting the HG4s? And I am reading I should be getting a nitecore d4 is it necessary to get a separate charger for each married set of batteries?
So you mean to say that I should expect them to come packaged in 2/4/6?
No plastic seal, no shrink wrap. When you say packaged individually is there any plastic seal involved is all I am looking for answer wise...
Yeah I am not looking to max it out by any means... Just want a mod that has a lot of headroom and looks a little bit more substantial than my current mod..
No, you only need one charger. I have the Nitecore Intellicharger i4. It has performed well for me. When it comes time to replace I'm looking at the Xtar VP4 as it monitors/displays voltage as it charges. And I am reading I should be getting a nitecore d4 is it necessary to get a separate charger for each married set of batteries?
Calculating Battery Current Draw for a Regulated ModYeah I am not looking to max it out by any means... Just want a mod that has a lot of headroom and looks a little bit more substantial than my current mod..
Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US. I know Illum gives a battery case with each pair, not sure of the other suppliers.
RTD Vapor
Illumination Supply
Orbtronics
IMR Batteries
Liion Wholesale
Buy them from RTD.I will be getting a new mod and I want to ensure that the batteries are new when I buy three individual ones for the sake of marrying... should I expect them to come packaged in some way? Everywhere I look online just has a picture of a battery in the open...
