I have a cousin that is a chef. He said the best way to cook steak is to pan seer it, then finish it up in an oven. He isn't a fan of grilling meat, unless its a hotdog lol.
He's got it backwards. Start in the oven at 450 F, allow interior to reach 135 F (use instant read meat thermo your first few times) then skillet sear and serve immediately.

Who was it that mentioned Bananas Foster? Try mixing Mt. Baker Banana Nut Bread and Cinnatoast Munch. Half each. The whole building will wonder how you're getting away with such decadence.

I thought the fruit cereal juice im using would taste better with a touch of vanilla. So i mixed a small amount with a few drops of high quality vanilla flavoring in an empty unicorn bottle. Mixed thoroughly and dripped some onto the coils. Pure vanilla extract in alcohol, no other additives. Really high quality extract. The vanilla isnt very pronounced but it did cut the sharp edge off the lemony flavor of the fruit cereal. Ill let the mix steep a few days and try again, otherwise its probably not the best idea i ever came up with.

I have never really had a sweet tooth in my life. If I want to grub some massively unhealthy food I would much prefer KFC to Dunkin Doughnuts, so I found it odd that when I first started vaping a month ago and was trying tons of juices that I gravitated towards desserts. Thus far anyway, I have not suddenly started buying up candy bars and ice cream when I go shopping, but today I had a random inclination that I decided to act upon.

So far my favorite liquid is a flavor called Creme Brulee. Not a day goes by that it is not in my tank at some point. The odd thing? I have never actually eaten a real one in my entire life and had only vaguely even heard of it previously. Today I got a wild hair and decided to change all that. Nothing like a Saturday rando mission to shake things up.

First let me say that I am most assuredly NOT a cook. As a single dude in my 20's I don't do much cooking, but since I had nothing better to do I decided what the hell. I got a recipe online and then had to make a couple of stops. Surprisingly, it's not that tough to make and contains very few actual ingredients. It almost took me longer at Walmart trying to track down what I now know are called "ramekins" than it did to mix up a batch and stick it in the oven. The guy at my local 7-11 probably thinks I am a crackhead now since I went there and got one of those butane torch lighters to caramelize the sugar on top because I did not want to buy an entire huge torch and attachment for one batch of desserts.

So the final result when I tried it? OMG, I almost had a mouth orgasm. My next door neighbor ended up knocking on my door since the whole floor smelled like vanilla heaven from my efforts and I gave her some as well. I think I won some points with her in the process and she is pretty friggin hot to boot. Score! I can also now honestly say that the Jimmy the Juiceman vape version is a fairly accurate representation of the dessert. I will attach a pic of the finished product below.

So what about you? Do dessert vapes make you want real dessert?
Dessert flavors actually satisfy my sweet tooth I have lost weight not eating so many sweets

That was me as well lol. I am actually seriously considering trying to DIY my own juice. I know absolutely nothing about it though.

As for vaping non flavored e juice, to each their own I guess. The only reason I vape is for the multitude of flavors available. Then again when I smoked I liked flavored cigars and pipe tobacco though. However good flavors were fairly limited. Not to mention having my room smell like an IHOP is an added bonus lol.

Oh and Robby, we are going to need updates on the neighbor situation lol.

LOL. I will let you know if anything materializes. Maybe I will take a cooking class or something since she seemed pretty impressed. I am pretty sure she does not have a boyfriend. I would of noticed by now since she lives literally right across the hall.

Oh and I tried the Brulee today after being refrigerated overnight and it was still boss as hell. I think I like it better chilled actually. I think I might have to go a little heavier than normal on the cardio this week as a result of this weekends festivities though. That can't have been good for me, but it sure was tasty.

Eh, your young, eat what you want while you can lol. I am 50 now and have acid reflux really bad and gall bladder problems. I can't eat anything I like anymore. And no matter how little I eat or exercise I can't lose weight or look like I did when I was 20.

And YES, take a cooking class! Wish I would have when I was younger. My Ex wife did and I greatly appreciated it. Cooking is basically science when you boil it down. Ha Ha I made a pun there. And you cannot imagine how impressed a woman will be if a man cooks her a meal after a crappy day. And don't do it just to impress to her, or for valentines day or something like that. Just out of the blue make her a nice meal and do the dishes and stuff while she takes a shower or watches tv or something. She won't forget it anytime soon.

Oh yes. I hate candy and never really cared for desserts..until last week. I bought a flavor called King Kong, taste like Banana Cream. I've been to the store three times to grab; Banana Cream Pie, Banana Cream Bread and Banana Creamed filled Donuts. I don't want to admit that I have a problem... But I probably do[emoji23]

I can back up the idea that vaping sweet desert type vapes actually helps reduce the craving for sweets. As a diabetic I have to be on guard against eating too many sweets constantly.
Now that I vape (and usually sweet juice) I find that anytime a craving comes over me I can satisfy it instantly if I grab my vape. Before vaping I would have had to sit there struggling with my sweet addiction for hours.
I have actually discussed this with my Dr. several times. I have always thought that vaping 0 Nic sweet juice could/should be marketed to help folks lay off the sweets. However, with the negative aura on vaping blown up by big tobacco, big pharma, and the government it will never happen.

I believe in time perception will change. Congrats on finding a way to help with your cravings.

"So what about you? Do dessert vapes make you want real dessert?"

No, but it seems that real dessert makes me want dessert vape.

I never thought I'd be interested in dessert vapes, but purely out of curiosity I bought some 'doughnut dream' juice a few weeks ago and vaped the whole 30 ml in a day and a half. Then I bought some custard cream, which was even better.

Dangerously addictive. I've decided to stay away from it until I can make my own.
