Just got my first atomizer for dripping, started off great, lotta flavor, nice draw, could use thicker smoke but i think ill need to go 6v for that.

Been vaping for a few hours and everything is going well. I have heard that attys taste best when brand new, but i just had pleasant surprise...been dripping different juices and having fun..all of a sudden...BLAM...THE DRAW HAS BECOME SILKY SILKY SMOOTH.

holy cow....is this normal? Flavor and hit are the same, but something about the draw that just feels like, i dont know....its just smooth...Kind of how the ego with the soft rubbery black material on the battery but in smoke form. i dont know what it is...its just SMOOTH. like the smoke is made of silk...its cool as heck.

Just wanted to share and see if this is something to expect, do attys need to get broken in for a bit then this will happen everytime, or have i hit some magicall bermuda triangle of humidity in the air that will never happen again? Maybe some perfect balance of mixed juice vg/pg mixed up on the atty from different juices. whatever, its nice.

Probably depends on what type of atty you're using, but my vote is for the Bermuda Triangle thing :)

Seriously, it just might be you've found the groove for direct dripping, it takes a bit of finesse to keep the juice amount in the "sweet spot". Too dry OR too wet will not produce good flavor/vapor.

Hope you remembered to blow out the priming fluid in your atty! :) Yes, some attys do have a break in period.

70PG/30VG tends to be a blend that produces really good vapor. I find that I even get good vapor using 80PG/20VG.

Oh ya, too wet.... atty flooding... what fun that is!! Hope you have some paper towel, napkins around when then that inevitably ends up happening.

i've had no problem using the inside of my tshirt when issues arise. and for the juice on fingers, had no issues just wetting or licking them and whiping off...thanks for the heads up. still getting the hang of when to drip...dont always want to wait for the nasty burnt taste to refill, getting a feel for when flavor drops off and needs a drop or 2...being doing great so far....cant wait to get my juice shipment and take it to the next level....

Im a little bummed i ordered more than half at 12mg, wasnt sure...i currently have a 12mg fruit flavor and a non flavor 18mg...gonna try dripping both the see if i can bring the low nic fruit to kick with some of the 18mg non flavor VG mixed it.

What im really craving is coffee and hazelnut flavors...i only ordered one, but am hardcore craving that, cant freaking wait!!! vAping away

Unless you pick up a drip shield ;)

That pretty much solved all my "atty flooding" issues.

I did see a drip sheild once, but it was for an 801. Do you have any links for drip sheilds that fit a 510? That would be cool..

As for wiping your flooded juice on your shirt man... You don't want that stuff on your skin 24/7. Sure it gets on my fingers sometimes, but I wipe it off. It may cause irritation, just a heads up.
