My cars hybrid...pretty terrible car imo
edit: no but seriously are there any advantages to hybrid mods?
In theory, they are supposed to have a better connection because they have one less contact (the atomizer touches the battery directly. The better connection, again in theory, would mean the device would handle better under load. So, to answer your question, yes.

Yeah I just don't get this. First I do like hybrids, but for the looks of the things not performance. In terms of performance, there are plenty of non-hybrid mods, like the nemesis with an extremely low voltage drop (fat daddy vapes also claims use of their extended pins makes voltage drop zero). There have been enough tests of the nemesis to show that the drop is near zero on standard nemmy's. So how do you do better than zero or near zero voltage drop.

there's also mods out that utilize a pinless topcap so the atomizer connects directly to the battery (like the bay city vapor lineup or the tarsius 4nine). the bcv xxix has pretty much a 0 voltage drop with its design. even their stainless steel surfrider has a very low voltage drop. it's also got a good switch, very smooth threading to ensure good contact points throughout.

jkuro has a nice list of tested voltage/amp drops of many different devices at calivapers
