you can be perfectly fine never doing the RBA thing but cost of disposables will have to factored in, i played with them just to see what the fuss was and am glad i did, is it a vaping wonderland with unicorns jumping into the sky and bursting into gooey rainbows of nicotine laced happiness? no but i know i cant go back to a clearo ever.
had i not tried it i would still be using them. its not for everyone and there are many who love their carto tanks or drippers and enjoy vaping just as much.

Ok, I'm convinced that I will be ordering a RBA, but in my experience by the time the websites stop saying OUT OF STOCK on everything there will probably be a new way to vape wonderland...

I agree that dripping can pretty much give you everything that a gennie can. I only use gennies anymore for the most part, there is a vivi nova hear and a dripping atty there but for the most part it genesis all the way. That being said the genesis has kind of wrecked e cigs for me, I say this because vaping has no longer become a tool to quit smoking. Now this tool to quit smoking has become a quest to find the perfect vape. I was a long time fan of vivi novas so much so that I have about 30 of them all filled with different juices so I could just vape whatever i wanted when I wanted, I now only use a vivi nova at work (I do construction and the genesis is no good in your pocket) and when I'm vaping menthols because they are just too strong in a genesis for my liking.

Yeah the genesis IMO is one of the best ways to vape at this current moment, I have a lot of fun trying to perfect my wick and coil and the flavor and vapor production is just nuts compared to everything out there except maybe a dripping attie. However, this comes at a cost and a big one at that, I honestly don't want to know how much I spent in atomizers, hybrids, and mechanical mods. There are cheaper ways to get into genesis rba's a perfect example is the wonderfully inexpensive aga-t+, it works great and is cheaper than a carton of cigarettes. Although there are cheap alternatives you still will want to try other genesis set ups, after you realize waht they are capable of you start to wonder how much better it can get as technology progresses, and when you wonder how good it can get your wallet tends to get lighter.

All this being said yeah the genesis provides a great vape and it can be done cheaply, however if waht you have works for you and you are no longer smoking and your happy with how your vapor tastes and all then there is really no reason to switch to the gennies. This whole thing is about getting off cigarettes right? So if your doing that there is no reason to change what your already doing unless you want to keep up with the Jones', you want to try to find the perfect vape or you just want to blow as much money as you can as fast as you can (it will happen).
Also don't mean to be rude or call you out or anything but wick and wire set up initially isn't as easy as your thinking it will be, untill you figure out how much mesh to use (solid wick or hollow wick) for the wick and whether to oxidize or not oxidize or even different materials for the wick, and then after you figure out the gauge wire you want to use and how many ohms to run it at, and then after that figuring out the hotspots without popping a coil working with genesis atomizers can be a real pain in the you know what and at times you want to give up and never look back. It looks easy and it can be but initally it's a real pain to perfect.

Not to argue, but if I could really justify the investment of any of my clearos or carto tanks, I wouldn't be looking at RBAs at all. I could go on about clearos and cartos. Short version: check this about i.e Kangers. Guess which ones I got... However, for me it's mainly about plastics. Paying 2-3x the price to vape from glass and steel is perfectly fine to me. Added bonus is lower costs of replacement wicks and coils. You won't see me with a $150 atty, tho :)

I get the quality control and I guess that supports the case and point. I will say that of 10 EVOD replaceable heads I had only one that needed me adjust the wicks and one pre-installed that gave out early. I had the t3 and all 3 had issues. Maybe I got lucky with the EVOD. I'm rebuilding the heads anyway to get rid of the silica but, they all worked well. Only thing they don't do well is thin liquids. I had to add additional flavor wicks to the standard silica wick for jc domestic red oak. (very thin for vg) It seemed to "over wick" that on three separate heads. Was performing like it was soaked in water. It definitely seems better than the t3 though.

I haven't tried one. I'm going on what I see people say on YouTube and this forum. It seems to me that it started out as a way to save money on attys by making your own then it turned into vaping nirvana serendipitously.

The fact that that became THE only way to get to vaping heaven ticks me off because venders that USED to make awesome attys no longer do. Nobody can tell me that the Joytechs old gold-band attys have maintained their quality, or Cisco or Ikenvape, etc. What happened to me is that all the good attys are now garbage and we must make are own to get any resemblance of an OK vape.

My question is why, why have all the manufactures of attys insist on making such inferior products? I mean are my choices an atty that is between 6-9 dollars that is bound to be crap or an HH.357 that will cost 3x that and work the way an atty three years ago DID work for 8 bucks. What happened?

We did this to ourselves we forced the price point so low it took quality along with it and now we have to make our own attys because we simply didn't demand better ones that god FORBID cost a little over the ten dollar mark.

Well said! Couldn't agree more!

True that. So far gennies have killed any chance of me using other delivery systems (at least as often). I don't even really bother with my RDA.

Plus I'm becoming more & more conscious of running costs. Genesis for me have been the cheapest to operate.
