    I don't think there is a kind of atty made that I haven't played with to see how well it would work with direct dripping.
    My conclusion is that the smaller the diameter of the atty is the better it works, this is why the 306 is so popular with drippers.
    The surprise atty for dripping is the 510-T with the wick plate removed, and again, the reason the 510-T works so well is because the atty diameter is reduced by an inner metal sleeve, making it like a 306 inside a 510 shell.
    A good dripping atty is all about managing the air flow at and around the coil.

    So, bottom line, those huge mega atomizers are not good dripping atties .... at least in my opinion.
