dripping problems - what am i doing wrong?

When ya'll speak of a cart you're talking of the removable cartridge that has the fiber in it right? I have removed mine from the 510 and it seems to work fine. Maybe I'm expressing this wrong. I guess with the 510 I should say an empty cart, i.e. no fiber. There's no way on any of these e-cigs I've got (801, 510 and RN4081) I'd not have a cart., I just have empty carts. Is that basically what ya'll are saying, empty carts?

Yes an empty cart is best for dripping. No need to have anything in there that will inhibit air flow.

With the 901 the atomizer does not get so hot and it can be used without any cart at all.

Ok, here are the 3 secrets to problem free dripping. Pay attention I am only going to say this once. If you follow these directions exactly you will have the best vaping experience of your life.

Thats how i do it, all the white fiber removed but still putting the empty cart on the atomizer, generally the cart is referred to as the entire piece you attach to the atomizer. So no cart would imply sucking directly on the atomizer.

also much easier time on the inhale and dont have to pull as hard? maybe that material was blocking the juice

been dripin on the atty coil of my 901 since the first day i got it last week, no cart, sucking the tail-pipe, seems like the only way i can get the vapor and throat hit i need, i can only get a couple good hits then production falls off. my solution was i just have 3 battery's, 3 atty's standind with battery end up, take couple hits on 1, put it back grab the next in line and repeat, by the time i go through the 3 of them i'm good.

You get better vapor because more juice is getting to the coil. but the down side is you have to keep dripping more in once the amount of vapor trails off which happens rather quickly.

The 510 atomizer gets to hot to smoke directly off it. Have you ever tried drilling out the hole on the cart? i've been thinking about trying this but never got around to it.

i just re-read your post. your on a 901 so i think that has a different mouth piece style then the 510. So my question isn't really relevant.

Exactly. I can't even imagine anyone taking a draw off an atomizer!! Yikes!

I usually put 2 small drops on the cartridge of my 901, then 2 more small drops on the atomizer. put the cartidge back on. tap the end of the cig on the table a couple of times, give one good primer puff, the vape away...I usually get between 30 and 40 deep vapes with that process.

Wow! 30 or 40 deep vapes on 4 drops? That's more than I could even hope for.
