Hey Peeps,

Been vaping 4 months and am loving it!!!

I have had my Riva kit from the beginning which has and is still serving me well however I have a question.

When using a fully charged battery, the throat hit, flavour of juice and vapour production is great.

As the day passes and I have vaped alot, I notice the TH, Flavour of juice and vapour production start to reduce because I assume the battery has been used throughout the day and is losing power..

Do I therefore need to buy a new kit to replace this existing one? if no, then what is causing this?

If yes, then what batteries are higher voltage then the Riva? I am thinking if I purchase a higher voltage battery then I will not notice the loss of TH, FLAVOUR and Vapour production as it naturally loses power OR will this naturally happen with any battery?

Thanks for any responses I receive

Hi!
As time passes, your batteries will start to lose their capability of beeing charged up for a all day vaping.
I think you really only have 2 options there.
Buy some new batteries (eGo has 1300mAh that last a loooong time) or you might start thinking of buying a mod and by mod i mean a GGTB, Provari or even an Apex or evena self-made mod (buy a box, some batteries, conectors...and lose also a bit of time) and you will get the higher voltage you want.
Almost all batteries will diminuish their performance as they decharge.
Hope i helped a bit and if i didn't ask away and i will answer the best way i can.

riva kits are so cheap that it wouldn't hurt to buy another and have some spares... having an extra charger never hurts.
You are right but if he needs some extra power on it, he should get bigger batts since it will allow him to keep vaping with regular/high performance more time.

any ideas?

You mentioned a higher voltage battery but that you were satisfied with the (initial) TH and vapor of your Riva. That being the case, you don't want additional voltage which isn't really possible with the Riva anyway. What you want is a new Riva (or eGo) battery that has a higher mah value, like 900 mah or 1000 mah. Think of it this way -- more mah (milli-amp hours) is like having a larger than normal gasoline tank in your vehicle. Your car wont run faster or better but it WILL run for a longer period of time sans diminished performance. Your Riva charger will work with the larger mah batteries too. The 1000 mah batteries are the same diameter as your standard batteries are but are about a 1/2" longer.

any ideas?
Since you are from the UK check Liberty Flights.
They have riva batts that got to 1100mAh or check HealthCabin on the eGo-t section and you will find 1300mAh if i am not wrong.
They will fit all your Riva accessories even the charger.
The capacity of the batts go up but they will also be longer.

That is an hard question because if you raise the TH in the case of the batt is running out, when you get a fresher one you will get a monster TH (this is the best case scenario because it will never be that high)
TH depends (i think) on 2 things PG and nicotine. So if you are using VG based juices you might wanna add some PG.
On the nicotine basis, nicotine is a poison so YOU CAN'T RAISE IT THAT HIGH!!!
You might wanna try and add some pure vodka that may raise the TH a little bit more (works for me)

On the flavour...well...You can just buy a concentrated flavour and add it to the juice but (and read this well) you may not like the final result.
Why? Easy....
Too much flavour and you will be tired of the juice in a day or 2.
