yes yes yes yes. you should have atleast 3 bats. and alwayes have 3 spair atomisers. attys have no spisific life span regardless of model. some last 6 months others last 2 weeks. many atty cleaning meathods work help but its still a role of the dice (keep one in your car). bats last longer but it is still a good idea to have extras. also most car chargers are also usb chargers so if you alwayse have it handy and one of your bats dose crap out on you you can atleast can charge the ones with you. i dont know witch model you have but with a 510 you can get the PCC witch is a batteried power charging station you can take with you to keep 3 bats charging even if you are away from your home and car. also a usb pass is avalible for most models its a good option because you screw ot to the atty insted of the bat. that way if your at your computer or pluged into your car charger you can still vape with out the bat. i actualy plug mine into the front of my cable box when im watching tv. any other ?s just ask we are hear to help.

Those small 901 batteries only have a recharge life of about 200 recharges if that. Being that it is an auto battery, if you get any liquid in the battery compartment, you will kill the auto switch.

Manual batteries are much more reliable and they now make them in the small size for the 901. If you plan to vape more than a couple of months, you will need many auto batteries.

The batteries on my PV have a 2000 recharge capability and cost $2.50.

I would suggest you get plenty of batteries.

Even the manual ones? I mean... The regular batts from a remote control are just a coating wrapped around and anode and a cathode. The batteries we use or a lot of them anyway have metal shells and some have (manuals like mine) plastic buttons and gadgetry. This poses a good question. Im gonna do some research into how batteries are recycled. I forgot to mention the diodes that make the pretty lights.

Yes, you definitely need extra 901 batteries. They will die eventually. What happens generally is that they will hold a full charge for a few hours at first, then after a few weeks (or months depending on frequency of use) they will only hold full charge for an hour, then it is steadily downhill from there. I used to chuck them when they started frustrating me, but now I own a Screwdriver so all battery problems are gone.

By the way, they generally die in pairs, and people say that very rarely they just stop working all of a sudden as well (although that hasn't happened to me)...

Cheers,

~Greg
