Do I need to charge an M401 passtrough?

I just got 2 M401 passtroughs.

Connected to wall usb jack, led flashed 3 times and went off.
I connected my atomizer and cartridge, puffed and nothing.
The led turned on, but no vapor.

I tried the 2nd passtrough and same result.

However when I used my half dead battery with that same atomizer I got some vapor.

Do those passtroughs need to be charged?
Do I just keep the usb plugged in or I have to screw them into the regular battery charger?

The 401 passthru I have does not need to be charged. Either you have faulty ones or (and this is highly more likely) the wall plug you have is not powerful enough to run the passthru. It should be rated at atleast 1000 mah? Some one correct me or fix me terminology please?

The wall plug I have only has an output of 5 volts and 500 mah, and that won't run my passthru.

Check yours, that's probably the problem. If it's not, get in contact with whomever sold you the passthrus.

Wall adapter was the problem.
I plugged it in to my computer's usb port and it works

Great, glad to see you figured it out. If you look around you can find links to places that have the higher rated wall plugs, don't have the links handy.

I ordered the 2Ah one for 3$ that everyone seemed to link to.
Hopefully that one will work

you can also get a portable usb battery pack but make sure it is one that output 1 amp .
